I think people would talk more about ikutsuki if he were more present because he doesn't have much screen time while adachi has a whole dungeon of his own and akechi is your ally during sae's palace and you also fight him in shido's palace ikutuski is a nice character on paper but he's kind of just there, says expository shit, disappears, repeats himself until it's revealed that he's evil and then he fucking dies and that's it
arguably ikutsuki was more interesting to me because i knew beforehand that he was going to betray SEES. I was just waiting for the moment he'd betray them and what hints there'd be to his betrayal
I feel like him and Aizen are similar in a sense where despite lacking a backstory, you can understand(NOT SYMPATHIZE, but understand) their motivations for what they do. My problem with Ikutsuki is that he has little to no presence in the story and then proceeds to do the whole twist-villain thing(something that Disney has made me fucking sick of atp). If he had more build up as a character leading up to 11/4, I feel like he could stand with Adachi and Akechi in terms of iconography in the series; but he's so forgotten by the fanbase because his storyline kinda just came and went, and him killing Mitsuru's dad is the only physical contribution he added to the narrative afterwards.
I knew he was evil going into the game bc I saw little bits and pieces from watching my friends play, but I couldn't comprehend how evil until I played myself. Mans is not CW Harrison Wells, he's Lysandre from Pokemon XY
I kinda wish Ikutsuki was a better character in the sense that there was more to him. He’s just there and when he’s gone it’s like “ok?” Also kinda wish Mitsuru’s dad got more screen time. Even though Mitsuru’s whole reason for fighting was protecting her family (she naturally awakened to penthesilia trying to protect her father during an experiment) this can easily fly over someones head until you can start her social link which is so late into the game that if you don’t have your links optimized you might not even see the ending to it unless your really curious. Saying this because the scene where he kills her father could’ve been more impactful.
@thunderstar7682 every time they came up in game, especially from Ikutski, I would literally take a deep breath in, and say something under my breath along the lines of "oh my f*cking god" or "oh jesus christ."
I honestly knew that he'd be a bad guy due to the fact I spoiled myself through a vid. Still, I didn't why he was so bashed on until I played the game. Funnily enough, I really liked his short events and thought he was sorta funny, but his way of being bad simply doesn't click well because he gets almost no screen time. If he could at least have more foreshadowing, maybe that would've been sweet. Not to mention, a possible social link.
People also forget "evil just to be evil" exists irl too. There are people who just like to hurt others for no particular reason. So no, Ikutsuki isn't badly written
It’s personally why I loved P4A for expanding upon his character and backstory, especially through Sho Minazuki and Labrys, and showing how evil he was to the both of them. Sadly most of the fan base hasn’t even experienced that games story, so they would never really know.

Yeah that is true
He is sadly hardly ever in the dorm besides the operation events
@@Legendaryyy77 i feel that he is one of the characters who most needed a linked episode in reload and i'm very sad that he didn't get it

I remember when I first started playing I thought that Takaya was Ikutsuki's shadow or something. But nah the man's just crazy lmfao
Not gonna lie i almost forgot about shuji.
Hell he's the reason P4 arena and ultimax happened.

I think his shitty puns made it hard to miss him.

I thought he was evil at first but in a Yami/Yugi kinda way w/ Takaya😂
When I first was introduced to Ikutsuki when I played Reload, I immediately knew he was a slimy mf.

The TRUE persona villain that lokey nobody talks about: persona 2
literally Adolf hitler
We gonna talk about how this man pretty raised Sho Minazuki and was the person who basically did the Persona users project? No? Okay.

good video

Tanaka is the biggest villain. He scammed the whole world
Who’s the first? Adachi or a villain from Persona 1 or 2 I don’t know about?
