Ebisu Circuit Autumn Matsuri with HTS Division Episode 1

- This is a personal project of mine which started when I visited Japan for the second time with HTS Division at the end of 2014. I wanted to document the trip so I could show people that hadn't been to Ebisu Circuit before what it is like.
This first episode contains a short intro of what is to come throughout the episodes of our trip, and our first day staying in Nihonmatsu, Japan, up the road from Ebisu Circuit and exploring the track. It shows some of the preparation of the boys with their cars and dealing with Andy and Emily of Powervehicles. Also, shows a few of the first shots I captured of the boys drifting for the first time at Ebisu.

What Camera do you use, or any tips for an amateur and beginning videographer? The picture is AMAZING.
+DaScheau Hey mate, I use a Canon 5D Mark III. Most of the footage is shot with a Samyang 35mm lens. I also used a 17-40mm and a 70-200mm both canon L series lenses. Well I am no expert by any means, but the best thing you can do is keep shooting and learning. I find using lots of different angles is important. Most of my footage from this video was shot freehand as I didn't always have time to set up a tripod etc. With this sort of footage uploaded to youtube, i also find a slight sharpening tool helps with the overall look prior to upload, as well as a quick colour grade. +MarkMorbidity If you want to visit and not drive, you can do it under $2,500 AU + flights. Yeah working on Ep. 2 at the moment, more drifting in that one :)

That's what everyone thinks, but it really isn't that expensive. If you took $1800-$2000 US you would have a trip of a life time for 10 days. I've been twice under $3000 AU

Hi there, Do you have any recommendations for accomodation in Nihonmatsu? Did you guys hire a rental car from there too?
Hire car was from the airport, keep in mind you will need an international license to drive on the roads of Japan. Accommodation was literally 2 mins up the hill from ebisu just don't know the name of the place. Google maps is your friend. The owners name is Amada San.
back when Ebisu didn't have a landslide and is gettin bulldozed in 2022 😢
Are those drift rental cars or do the driver's store their cars at the track?
Yeah you purchase the cars through powervehicles via their website, drift the car while you're there and you can then decide to resell the car or store at powervehicles for a price
