I am in a similar situation like the first babe and honestly, I needed some space from her because whenever we would talk/meet I leave drained. I have always supported her and provided a listening ear and I think that became our friendship. Now I'm at a point where I feel like she just kept me around all these years because I was her cheerleader. I have a friend like this, we have been friends for years but I bet she knows nothing about me , I do not think she knows my likes and dislikes because everything is always about her, She one time threw a tantrum in a restaurant and said she always knew I am pretending to care and understand her when I truly don't, that hurt me. she went on to say her other friends told her not to be friends with people that are beneath her, she does have a better job than mine and always brags about it, but never thought she would say I am beneath her
