It's in very sallow area with mild water movement the car is on 8-10 ft in water a private dive team found her vehicle and was ready to pull it up Kcso stopped the removal saying crime scene yet no mention to any crime just a sad accident involving her & her vehicle. 52 days bring her family closure her kids do something dam

Only reasons KCSO haven't recovered this vehicle is due to INCOMPENTENCY and INDIFFERENCE and Arrogance mixed in, and they're suppose to be a Public Service Agency. Congrats to AWP for responding to a request to locate this vehicle and 'would had' assisted in pulling out this vehicle immediately, had it not been for an embarrassed KCSO interference to thwart the recovery with lame excuses.
Perhaps the recovery would be safer for divers when the water is lower later this fall or winter. So sad there’s a poor woman’s body in the vehicle, but from here on in its vital no other children are left without a parent. Safety first please.
The family can hire AWP to recover the vehicle. Is AWP is bonded and insured, have a business license? If not they can assist the family as friends, unless the police have filed criminal charge against the women, it is definitely a police cover up of a crime, they want the evidence degraded so they cannot be traced to what happened.
Adventures with Purpose have done this for years, and are excellent. Adventures with Purpose are more than able to dive, and hook up the vehicle. They simply need cooperation from a tow company to pull, and if she is in the vehicle, the ME on site. I have watched a number of their videos, They have located many, that were missed, sometimes for years, even by law enforcement. They are always very respectful, but I did watch their video on this, and they were really upset, that they were blown off. Really sad.
I don't care who gets that car out of the river but it needs to be removed for many reasons. The flow of the river is controlled out of the dam and they can request that the water level be reduced but there is no reason why this car could not have been rigged for removal at the current river levels.
The water in the Killer Kern is treacherous. I love what Adventures With Purpose does and have watched them for years. He couldn’t even swim to the front of the vehicle because of the strong current. While under water at the back of the vehicle, he even mentioned how fast the current was going through the cabin of the vehicle. He should know the forces of that water is pinning that car to the river bottom. If you hook that car up at the back, because he can’t get to the front of it, then you’ll pull the back of the car causing it to turn sideways in the river. That current will sweep that car away forcing it to tumble down river losing any evidence inside it. Kern’s S&R team are professionals, most are volunteers serving this community and not paid for their time. This similar situation happens all the time in the Killer Kern. Over 330 people have lost their lives to that river since 1968, making it the deadliest river in America. People need to show it some damn respect. If the professionals who work this River and know it better than anyone else say it’s too unsafe, then respect that. We don’t need any more lives lost. They’ll recover the vehicle when it’s safer. There’s no cover-up, so stop spilling false narratives. She wrecked her car after allegedly driving away drunk from her bf house. Thankfully her kids weren’t with her, but were over an hour away with their dad.
I call BS. We’ve recovered/rescued worse than this. With the right boom truck and proper harnessing of the vehicle, hooked up at four points, from the front and the back, the vehicle can be pulled without flipping over. The hardest part is getting the diver to it, and that’s obviously been done! How many months do you suppose it will take for conditions to improve?! If you wait until winter or afterwards, conditions will only worsen. I’m not buying it. If we can recover an 18-wheeler dangling from a bridge, we can do this!

AWP could've got that vehicle out in a hour , he was right there , filming the under water video , and showing where to hook , the vehicle and bring it up , The current was not that strong , you got to know how to read a river . He has pulled 100s of vehicles out across the USA , out of rivers , and some lot more dangerous , than this one , with no visibility , like the Missouri , and the Mississippi Rivers .
The water in that area is very calm crazy dive team from Oregon found the vehicle and was ready to pull it up the cops say nope.its on 8-10ft deep get this poor lady out
Been a lot of odd deaths on that river. I remember the one guy that just got out of prison and drowned in a shallow area. I have pulled gold from that river also.
It is middle of summer water levels low it's been 52 days it's a car accident let someone else pull it up if kcso won't my god it's only in 8-10ft of water and water very mild in that area. Kcso this community & her family deserve answers and now
