I wish you could run the SD cards in a backup config. Instead of just being different locations, data would be written the same to both. This way you can have a continuous backup.
If you're happy with refried and not having any issues then you don't need to. If you have a device with joysticks then I would reccomend updating. It's worth having a read through their website about it. I am excited for when they release Bluetooth in a future update
I have a Rg40XX H with stock OS and 2 SD cards. If I update the stock OS to MuOS, what about the games on the second SD card? Do I need to change the directory name or anything else?
I'm still sticking (as of now) with stock OS. I need the bluetooth and the search function, as my brother and sister also borrow my device sometimes. The only thing I want from muOS is the better portmaster, but it seems the recent Stardew Valley update 1.6.9++ broke it, I read people not able to run it anymore with muOS. I'll just play Stardew on my tablet I guess, for now.
I haven't had that issue. You should be able to setup your folders how you like. I find the Discord server extremely helpful because there's a lot of people that are active on there to help if anyone runs into any weird issues like that
You can use both cards, it's up to you 👌 If you use your original OS card, you'll need to format it/delete everything first, so it may be better to use a brand new blank SD card if you want to keep the original software. I always suggest making a backup of your files either way
@dvornikovalexei you may just have to assign it a letter under 'Disk Management' just search Disk Management on your computer and assign it a letter like E: for example. That happened to me before too

That's a cool idea
@batpixel I love these devices, but I always worry about corrupt data and hours of work disappearing.
muOS offers an app called Syncthing where you can backup your files over wifi. I have a guide on it in my full guide video
@@batpixel thanks, I'll check it out.
Does it run Saturn games? So far only using the Stock OS runs then, Knulli and others don’t work..
Is it worth to update to banana from refried?

Yeah you might be better off waiting until they release Bluetooth for muOS. I'm sure they'll fix portmaster as soon as they can too
Wish you showed the analog stick improvements
It basically means you won't snap into any set direction while moving by accident. So the joystick gameplay is much smoother
I installed the new version but it doesn't see my other SD card with my games. What do I do now?

@@batpixel I find out how to do it, they remade the sorting system for roms, it's better, just had to find out :D
@uggZymoroon sweet 😄👌 I think the big thing will be when they release Bluetooth & search. The ability to have an artwork scraper will be amazing too
@@batpixel but you can get artworks there, I know I had it working on previous version
wait, I can load the games on the OS card?

My card not showing up on PC after i take it back out. I want to load old saves
