There is actually quite an underlying musical element to engines vs. the number of pistons, so both 3, 6, and 12 piston engines sound similar. But you are right, the similarities stop there...comparing these two engines is like comparing a housecat to a jaguar.

Least obvious for 4 and 8, because 8 cylinders tend to have so much more bass note, but the rumble and the raspieness is there in both. Of course its a metzger race engine and you cant compare them. Still some kind of purebread racing housecat though lol.

Word to the wise be careful with IPE and IPE exhausts they do not honor warranty issues and routinely deny claims when you have problems. They are misleading in telling consumers that if there is a problem with one of their exhausts systems, they will replace them. This is not true on any level and even when two reputable companies, Wheels Boutique and Champion Motor Sports, told them their titanium exhaust installed on my car was defective...and sent them video's, they still refuse to take responsibility and replace the damaged/defective system. This is a very poor business model and they do not protect consumers.
