About 10 minutes later after entering the Science hall they spotted Dave and a student running up the Hallway with the intent to clear it of anyone that may be outside the classrooms. It does not Detonate. The teacher and Students inside the science class Dave is laying just outside risk their own lives to pull Dave inside. They treated his injuries to the best of their abilities and kept Dave alert and awake by talking to him about the pictures in his wallet. 3 hours later police finally reach the Science room where Dave is only barely clinging to life. Sadly he would not make it, dying as Medical teams finally arrive inside from blood loss. William David "Dave" Sanders was only 47. He would be the 3rd of 13 victims that would die that day, and the only teacher.

The rescue team didn't realize the shooter actually just walked behind him and he didn't even notice the shooter. This i just a tragedy
