Fiberglass rash makes me so irrationally angry bro 😭 even if I accidentally get a couple flakes stuck in my skin it pisses me off. I usually get it out by rubbing stockings or a similar fabric on it but if I don’t have access to that I use tape
The glass fiber is also used in some broomsticks and other long stick tools. They are fine for 5 years but then those same broomsticks and tools start to break down releasing these small black hairy like needles. If you are for example using a leaf rake then you are cooked. I did it with small gloves, but the needles still went trough. The worst part is many of them are so deep in you skin that you cant even take them out with tweesers. So, if you get these, try take them out if you can, but you just have to wait till they natutarly get out of your skin which takes up to 2 weeks at most. It hurts when you touch objects with needles in hand so. Please guys, check your broomsticks and rakes before using them! 🙏😭🥲

Once got pushed into fiberglass during the fight that hurt badly and my arm was really sensitive for three days. I had a cap on because it was Halloween so that just made it worse.
I remember going to a lake as a child and a group of friends n I swam out to where those concrete pillar things are that show where the swimming zone ended and we messed around with it, trying to crawl on top. Well, it wasn't just a chunk of cement. There was microglass in that sht, and that sht was stuck in our skin for days. All we could do was apply warm compresses to our skin to draw the glass out because it was too small to pick out. Everything that brushed the affected skin shot pain through you. It felt like being impaled by microscopic knifes
As an experienced 15 year government contractor I can 100% agree this is no fun. Instillation is absolutely irritating just by touching it with your fingers. So eating it wouldn’t be any better!!!
