Omgosh Peachie that picture you inserted at 0:08 is from the maid cafe I'm currently working at and I'm the one in the middle!! Feeling quite honored to appear in your video huehehehe~ Keep uploading, I was so happy to see a new video from you!
Oh my gosh!! I'm a little embarrassed you pointed this out, as I thought it was na official Maidreamin picture (before they had official uniforms). I'm so glad you don't mind, hahaha! :D You all look insanely kawaii.
In response to @くごなぎさ 1- In japan, do they allow foreigners to apply for a position at maid cafes? Some foreigners have definitely worked at maid cafes. I think first you have to be proved as a permanent resident of japan and you need some kind of tax license, which I hear is quite a tricky process. 2- You said youre not allowed to take pictures of the cafe or the maids unless you pay for a photo with your favourite maid, but can you take pictures of the food? Some cafes allow you to take photos of the food, but usually there is a "no photos inside the building" policy. 3- Are guests allowed to wear lolita fashion, or is it against the rules in fear that theyll be mistaken for an employee? It is fine to go to a maid café dressed in lolita. Many lolitas commonly hang out at Akihabara (the maid cafe central of japan) ^_^ 4- do they serve "real food" or just sweets? Real food for pretty much every maid cafe. Main courses commonly served are omlette rice, curry, burgers and bento- and desserts are normally ice cream sundaes or cakes. They tend to have a lot of appetizers as well. For drinks- some maid cafes offer cocktails and other alcoholic beverages, but others simply serve tea, coffee, soda, and juice. ^^
One question... How do you say it when you ask "Do you have any drinks that aren't carbonated?" As well I can't stand soda or anything with carbonation.
This was such a cute video ;o; I would love to visit/work in a maid cafe or something, I didn't know there was one in scotland! That's closer to where I live compared to things in london xDD
There are at least two maid café teams in scotland, there is Marshmallow Dreams and also Maid In Scotland! :) In London, there is an awesome maid cafe group called The Maids of England. My e-friend Abi Pop is part of that one!
how is dancing bad for your health, if anything it's good for your health, it is an exercise which is of course good, and puts your soul in a good mood which is good for you
Peachie, you inspired me to do lolita and you are and all ways will be my big idol! you´re such a happy person and I´m in love with your room and your clothing!!!
i have always wanted to go to a maid cafe but my parents say no. they usually say, "NO! we are not taking our FAMILY of a 12 year old (im 12) and a 8 year old to such a sexual enviornment!" im american so its hard to explain but maid cafe does not mean sexual.
You're an adult now. Have you been to a maid cafe yet? Or are you a very different person now? Are you still even a fan of this kinda thing? (I'm genuinely curious, the passage of time makes me feel some kinda way)
This is my absolute favorite video by you Peachie! I love how you put every aspect in this video. From information, to acting, to dancing. You're so Kawaii!!
this new video just made my day! and everytime i see ur videos i get so happy and cheerful and even more eager to be this cue without feeling self cautious....And ive been really sad lately so this was very nice! thank you peachie~3
I don't mean to sound rude, but your pronunciations are off. I suppose it's because of your accent? (I do like your accent, however. It seems very fitting to such a princessy-cute girl.)
So I’m just 13 and want to give up on living I see no meaning in it but my therapist told me to make one big goal and I said “idk own a maid cafe” so now the only thing keeping me alive rn is opening a maid cafe 😅
I've seen a couple if videos on this topic, and I gotta say that I like yours the best. I think that you sold this image very well of what the café owners are trying to present. Nice job. You kept it formal and cute. I don't know if you have worked at one but I think you have the exact type of personality and approach to the concept that they are looking for.
agh your constantly smiling face and the way you mage this whole video really made my day // i even caught myself smiling several times!!! stay kawaii ^^
I got so surprised when I saw you had a new vid! Thanks Peachie, this was so cute! I hope I can visit a maid cafe when in Japan next summer, so excited!!!
Just today I subscribed to you and thought like "She didn't upload stuff for a long time but it's okay, I'll wait" and just now you've uploaded this :D I love you btw c:
This video has actually been really helpful in shedding some light on Japanese Maid Cafe's to a non-Japanese speaker such as myself. I love Japan and have visited Tokyo twice in the last year, and during a trip in Akihabara I decided to check out a maid cafe. I have a pretty good understanding of the importance of hospitality in Japan, so I didn't have a problem grasping the concept of Maid Cafes. I did, however, have a problem with the language barrier. So much stuff was going on and I had absolutely NO idea what was happening to me. Hearing you explain, in English, the types of characters that the maids tend to play, and the hearing your English translations of common maid cafe phrases has really helped. I'm not sure if or when i'll ever get to visit Scotland, but if I ever do i'll be sure to come and find your magical maid cafe :)
OMG good luck in your maid cafe in scotland!!! love your outift, its super cute. I have some questions about maid cafes and if you have the time, id be delighted if you could answer! - In japan, do they allow foreigners to apply for a position at maid cafes? - You said youre not allowed to take pictures of the cafe or the maids unless you pay for a photo with your favourite maid, but can you take pictures of the food? - Are guests allowed to wear lolita fashion, or is it against the rules in fear that theyll be mistaken for an employee? - do they serve "real food" or just sweets? Thank you! these are so adorable, itd be amazing if the con im going to were to have one...but thatd be so much work for only a temporary thing.
I would LOVE to go to a Maid Café. I live in Canada though, and I don't know of any in my country, there are certainly none in my province. It frustrates me, whenever I explain to a friend what a Maid Café is, they always look at me weird and think its some kind of sexual fetish thing, and I have to try very hard to explain that no, they girls aren't dressed scantily, and no, they aren't prostitutes XD
Often they have imitation maid cafes at anime conventions. If you're very, very interested, you could even get together a group or join a group to host one at an anime convention.
Exactly what Princess Jessie-Kate said. c: Honestly, though, if you host one, expect to be harassed by people :// We've seen that problem a bit at cons in my province.
I'm so happy you made a new video. Seeing how cheerful and cute you are always puts me in a better mood and inspires me to be sweeter/cuter in my own life. I also always love your outfits. Even though I personally prefer classic lolita, you're my favorite sweet lolita.
Aahahah ''Don't mess with maids!'' LOL I love it, you're so cute and funny! Omg I love the ''types of maids'' thing, you made me laugh so much AHAH ... AND YOUR MAID PICTURE. I love your sens of humor x3 (Also I absolutely love your room I want one like this ;; )
Wow!! >_< Peachie-ohimesama, this video is perfect! ^_^ It must have taken you a lot of physical effort to do the dance cover...please don't overdo it!
My university's Anime and French Clubs are currently working on a maid cafe event, so this was incredibly helpful and cute. Thank you so much for making this! Definitely subscribing :)
Wow, that actually sounds very fun! I love places with great customer service, and your description of maid cafes sounds like they put a lot of effort into exactly that :)
I love this video, it's cute and funny ^^. I'm glad you make these videos, it's actually nice to see someone who's into cute things and lolita fashion but is still 'decent' and not super-young anymore (because I sort of feel like I can't be like this anymore because I'm older, but I think I'm 2 years older than you are? Anyway I love it that you're just yourself, that's very inspiring! It's also refreshing seeing as a lot of 'lolita' people are more into the 'it has to be a perfect outfit and coord' and not so much into 'just have fun and look cute and enjoy life like that', if you know what I mean :). Thanks for making me smile!
I love your videos Peachie! You allways make me happy, even if my day was bad. Sadly I don´t understand every word you say, because my motherlanguage is not english, but I´ll praktice. Thank you ♥
Maid cafés always sound so fun, but I never knew what they exactly were. Thank you Peachie. I hope I can visit your maid café one time. I live in the Netherlands, so it's not that far, but still pretty far. ♥
Hey there Peachie! I love this video! For Halloween I'm going to be a kawaii maid girl~♥ You should definitely do a room tour video soon! I'd love to see your room ♥
Hearing Shugo Chara music made me sooo nostalgic, I am in a huge fangirling fit o//w//o Thanks for all your informations, it was very interesting! ^^ I'm still a little young, but I hope than in some years, some Maid Cafés will appear in my French city, I would love to work in them! ^^
You are seriously too cute! Wish I lived somewhere near Scotland (as opposed to Belgium.lol) so I could actually visit. There's a Maid Cafe in the Netherlands, but I think the owner doesn't really understand the concept..
Your japanese accent is really bad :D I really enjoyed the video, though. :) I wish I could join a maid cafe group, but I never heard of one in my country.
Today I learned the prans on Aika are based off of anime tropes. I might have realized this if I watched anime more often than maybe once a year, haha.
I went to a few Maid Cafes in various Anime conventions and look forward to seeing one in Japan as well (Scotland also if I happen to go there someday). I was allowed to take a picture of 3 maids in a pose but I asked first and they agreed. I become friends with one of them eventhough often the rules are against this but she in turn enjoyed my college radio show at the time (playing Asian music) so I guess it was mutual. I always go to a maid café whenever they are available because it's an uplifting experience. You would have to try VERY hard to be unhappy in one. I love all maids in general and thank you for the wonderful job you do. Arrigato
The closest we can get to cute clumsy maid in America is when that one time at dunkn doughnuts they spilled hot coffee on my dad
Band Mom LMFAOOOOO

My sister would definitely call me the "clumsy maid". She makes fun of me for falling so much... =>

Do you have to be able to speak some Japenese to apply? I wanted to when I get older, it is so sweet!
+BananaPopGamerz haha I would think so, It being Japan and all.... :p
oji also means prince or sir.

not health in general. Something specific to her. I just remember her saying something about it on another video. Could be wrong
Peachie, you inspired me to do lolita and you are and all ways will be my big idol! you´re such a happy person and I´m in love with your room and your clothing!!!

All the songs you use in your videos are kawaii :3 what are there namesror what website do go to to find them?
Your apron is absolutely adorable.
I’m supposed to work at a maid cafe for this anime convention and I’m so nervous and don’t know how to act so this was helpful 😂
You are seriously too cute! Wish I lived somewhere near Scotland (as opposed to Belgium.lol) so I could actually visit. There's a Maid Cafe in the Netherlands, but I think the owner doesn't really understand the concept..
Im not that into manga or anime but give it a year or so or it will consume my soul and i will love something like this
Ahhh Peachie I miss you! I love your vids

I used this song in my Casual Outfits video! I really love this cute happy song ^^
So cute! Great to see you again Peachy!!
This is too adorable! ^-^

Today I learned the prans on Aika are based off of anime tropes. I might have realized this if I watched anime more often than maybe once a year, haha.
i get distracted enough with the adorable girls dancing in youtube videos.. the last thing i need would be a place like this within driving distance!
Can you please do a make up tutorial for your makeup your wearing! It's super cute with the puppy eyes! ^^
I went to a few Maid Cafes in various Anime conventions and look forward to seeing one in Japan as well (Scotland also if I happen to go there someday). I was allowed to take a picture of 3 maids in a pose but I asked first and they agreed. I have worked in a maid caffe at a few cons like Sabaku con. It was soso awesome and fun, and I loved playing games with all the customers!
I would LOVE to go to a maid cafe and butler cafe, but i don't understand Japanese :c is there any English speaking cafe's?
I've lost count of how many times I've watched this, so cute ;;;;
