  • Riddler Mindbender is the classic Schwarzkopf looping coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia. The coaster still has a fantastic setting in a ravine! This ride opened back in 1978 and had been a mainstay in the Golden Ticket Awards Best Steel Coaster poll. But a 2021 renovation significantly adjusted the ride experience, giving it new trains and additional braking.

One of my most lucky credits- Broke down as I approached it, rode Batman and came back, asked the ride attendant to see whether or not I should stay or lap Goliath, he says lap Goliath.
I get two laps in, I come back to Mindbender, no longer than two minutes after I arrive, it opens, and it was just barely able to get a train out with me in the back row. It only had one train now, and when it came back into the station, IT BROKE DOWN AGAIN.
I have no clue if I would have gotten it in if I arrived in the station any later. It's a shame that this thing is starting to have a lot of problems.

I went to my local carnival last night. What a waste of time and money. $20 for 12 tickets. Most big rides cost you 3 tickets, so that's essentially 4 rides for $20. The drop tower, the only ride I was really looking forward too was broken. The other thrill rides there were personal least favorites of mine, the Zipper and Gravitron. I'll gladly go on any coaster, the tallest drop tower in the world, any starflyer, go on any trap door waterslide, jump out of a plane, but there's no way I'm going on either of those two rides. No pirate ships for me either, which unfortunately was another one of the few major rides there. They didn't even have a scrambler or a zyklon! All I ended up doing was the ferris wheel and the cliff hanger, both twice. The worst part of all, there was a height limit on the Dragon Wagon, so I didn't even get a coaster credit. With that said, there was a Round Up that I likely would've done had I not ran of of tickets and met up with a friend who's an even bigger wuss of flat rides than myself. Yeah, I'm scared of zippers and gravitron, but the round up, that's fine. I think my fear of those rides comes more from my fear of claustrophobia, though I am still freaked out by most flat rides that focus on hangtime, but that just might be because I don't really like hangtime, unless it has good whip to it, like on RMC's.

Carnivals are usually pricey if you pay per ride. I love Zippers though.

I don't know if the renovation or refurbishment was for you an upgrade or a downgrade?

I think it was a downgrade for my tastes.

It was to preserve the ride.

I'm glad the ride is still operating, but it was nerfed.
