The first song is called "Cosmic Storm", by "A Himitsu". Here's the link! m.ruclips.net/video/U4wXUdhNxZk/видео.html As soon as I heard a few seconds of this, I knew it was going on the video, haha.
Like how you describe lengths in terms of how many pumps, rather than other ways. And thanks for not killing it with a bunch of unnecessary rambling on and on~Good tutorials that are east to watch, easy to understand. TY!
Very nice video and awesome balloon design! I only face paint on the job, but I love balloon twisting so much that I make pre-made balloons and take them with me to private parties for the guests. This is a perfect one for b-day girl because it looks so nice!
LOL! yeah, I've got the gesticulations down, and I do throw some aspect of illusion in there with some of my editing techniques. So nice to hear from you, and thank you for continuing to support my endeavours!
This is fab (as usual) my workmate's daughter loves frozen gonna make one of these it looks as though it would be so hard but you make it look so easy thanks :)
Hey ragey! Yeah, I can't front - this one is difficult, but I spent a lot of time designing every aspect of the model so it is very elegant and sturdy. Thanks for watching!
Love it! Better yet, my daughters love it! I made one with pink and purple on the top, and a green wand to make a flower- a nice variation. Also, instead of making two triads at the beginning, I tied the two balloons together at the beginning and simply made six. Saved me a little time. Thank you so much for your beautiful designs. Your fire-breathing dragon hat was a big hit at a Hobbit party I did last week.
Cool! I'm glad someone figured out the flower wand aspect, as this was based on a botanical scepter I had designed a couple years ago. I initially linked the 260s, but I had trouble keeping the cylinder sizes even that way for some reason. Wow, yeah that would be a perfect Smaug! Thank you for your lovely comment.
BTW, I can't figure out how to work faster than I already do, and although I practice quite a lot, I usually need more time than I wish I did for quite simple designs. Are there tips for being faster (apart from just practicing) ? I have had the occasion of working with a friend of mine who is a great balloon artist but I am slower than he is for the same level of designs, and it was not fair to him because he was dealing with more customers than me in the same gig :/
Hey there, Emma! My immediate advice would be to get a stopwatch and time yourself. Do the same design a few times in a row and try to beat your start-to-finish time record - (you see, I like to make it into a little game of skill for myself to keep things interesting). When you practice a single design several times, you will notice certain points where your hands or arms are not moving , manipulating or holding the balloon as efficiently as possible. This technique works in tandem with time trials, as you identify steps in your twisting process where several seconds at a time can be eliminated from your twisting time. I have one more tip that I will type when I wake up, but for now it is my my bed time, haha - goodnight!
Hi Balloon Sage Thanks a lot for that first part !! Hope you slept well, I have no idea where you live i.e. what time it is now for you :D I was already timing myself (to give infos on my website about what I can or can't do within one hour) but I never tried to do the same design several times, or to concentrate on the specific moments where I lose time. This is very helpful, I will start to concentrate on that during my session today !!! :D I have noticed something though, that I can't voluntarily start yet : when I've been twisting for some time, my hands suddenly seem to start an "auto-pilot" mode and get faster. But it's not in my control, it "happens". Do you or did you have this kind of experience too ??? :D
I know exactly what you are referring to. If you develop muscle memory strongly enough, you will be able to zone out without even thinking about it and start twisting quite proficiently, organicallly. The other tip I have depends on what you are making. Now, before any event, I stay up for a couple hours preparing PARTS of my balloon animals ahead of time. For example, the twister Holly Hopper has a Hello Kitty design that I use for linework. I have an airtight container that stores inflated 6" hearts with little balloon bows attached. I make the dress live in front of the kids, plus the arms and legs, but being able to just grab an inflated head(with bow), tie it on, then just draw on a quick face is an incredible time-saver. Making the heads ahead of time saves me a minute and half per design. This is just an example. Other examples include pre-made princess arms, mini laser guns for aliens, Elmo faces, bunny faces, penguin beaks... parts for the most popular designs. This trick has saved me "loads of time" - loads of times!
Oh yes I see what you mean :-) I have not done that kind of preparation yet, because I was afraid to not use the balloons in the end. I used to sometimes prepare some yellow tulip twists for the heart of the flowers, or inflate my balloons before the beginning of the gig, but that was it. But now that you say it works very well, then I will give it a serious try !!! Thanks :D Oh and I have another question, but feel free to not answer if you do not have time to, it's been very kind of you to already help me. I saw on the video where you explain how to do a menu, that you put simple AND advanced designs on the same display. Does it ever happen that everybody wants the most complicated and advanced design because it looks so great ? How do you manage your time (or even saying no) in that kind of situations ?
Hi callieoops! I'm finally back and have lots of new vids lined up. I had three filmed and ready to upload in June, when my phone crashed and I LOST THEM. I was really devastated, honestly. So I took a break, and now I am ready to share my designs with my subscribers once again. It's so nice to hear you like the design, as I often ask myself what you will think when I am coming up with them.
Hi. I give them to people in my apartment who have children, or I go to the local laundromat and give them to the ladies who work there to give to their children.
Balloon Sage thanks for the insanely fast reply, but I do atribute it to time zone differences. I live in America, and based on your reply time, you have to live somewhere in the European area (probably the U.K.) it's about 1 o clock over here in America. I sometimes have a hard time sleeping so I watch some YT. But anyways thanks for the reply and nice video!
Balloon Sage meh, it was just a guess, but I do have slight insomnia and it usually occurs at least 2 times a month. It's weird how when you try to sleep but your body is prepped and refuses to sleep
Oh, I totally understand that. I have an unusual condition where my body only gets tired during daylight hours. I film almost all of my videos at night, because I mostly sleep during the day. No matter how long I stay up, I often can only sleep when it's light outside. But - It's not so bad, and I live a happy life by working around the mildly unfortunate circumstances. I also have something called sleep paralysis - so if you don't know what that is, be glad, haha.
Ah, well, you are in luck! I am going to be trying out a hybrid of my two separate styles by implementing voice-overs. This will allow for a music track background while my voice cuts in to give a more detailed and personal explanation in the foreground. Thank you for your comment.
Hi! Thank you for your comments. I used to only create lessons with vocal instructions, but using music tracks allows me to produce a more concise and polished product which has led to a massive increase in subscribers and views. I originally changed up the way I do these videos when I suffered a dental-related injury and could not speak properly for a time. I tried going back to my original style but it wasn't well-received as it once was, and viewers generally seem to prefer non-vocal lessons. If you are a new viewer, I am sure you will love the many older twisting videos I have on this channel that are often times nothing but a barrage of vocal information extending through the length of the entire demonstration. Regarding your second point, as long as the design is what is featured and it is not obfuscated in any manner, I didn't think anyone would mind if I sorta blended into the back. By virtue of omitting my entire head from almost every video, you can probably glean that I am not so keen on being the focus if i can help it. I really appreciate your advice and will seriously reconsider both points.
I agree Sage, nothing at all wrong with these videos Very easy to follow .I would like to ask where you get the backtracks music.Along with balloons I play guitar and I'm always looking for cool instrumental stuff that is kinda out there.I found some pretty cool ones on your channel but wanted to know where you get-em?Great work as always bro!
Hey, Michael! I used to play guitar in a metal band. I get these awesome audio tracks from the RUclips no copyright audio library - here's the link! m.ruclips.net/channel/UCht8qITGkBvXKsR1Byln-wA There is quite an array of unique tunes to jam to. Thanks a lot for watching!
Thanks bro and so glad you staying busy ...I started using the weapons and space guns and dragons especially the heads of the dragons I like them better than the ones I use most of the time.Always good to have many variations to mix it up ya know.As far as music goes I'm a big Satriani fan and Zakk Wylde...Too bad we are losing so many great talent like Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington from Linkin Park..I'm sure you're a fan too and We all will miss them.Iv'e been on here since the beginning when people like David Brenion along with Michael Floyd and WarrenAnn first started posting tutorials .I had thought about doing a balloon channel myself but decided against it.Now new people are popping up all over trying to get a piece of the You TUBE pie it seems.Soon our industry is going to become over saturated as everything does.I think you got a great style in the way you create your balloon art and your definitely one of my favorites. Thanks for the link Sage and it maybe you could post a video of your guitar skills?
Well, yeah if you want a really nice flower design that kicks azz.
My kids really loved this one, you have great talent! Having a lot of fun watching your videos!
That's great! Thank you for watching.

ooh, "triad" - I am going to have to adopt that term as part of my lexicon.

What do you usually do when you finish showing these off?
Hi. I give them to people in my apartment who have children, or I go to the local laundromat and give them to the ladies who work there to give to their children.

Will it inflate after few days if you don’t tie a knot?
Welcome back!
Thank you, Gilda!
This is very UPSCALE Balloon Sage, Thank you.
Hey David - thanks a lot!
Where did you get the music?
m.ruclips.net/channel/UCht8qITGkBvXKsR1Byln-wA
Thank you so much. I will be checking them out.
It is a massive collection of artists that provide non-copywritten music for use in youtube videos. There is quite a mix of genres to choose from!
Unbelievable!!!
Thanks!
Miss you talking buddy.

I have only two complaints. 1. I need more voice less music. 2. You NEED a solid color shirt because you're part of the background.
