- In this easy cooking video, I make some cherry cheesecake toast. I simply toasted some bread and topped it with cream cheese and cherry pie filling. It's very easy and tasty!

That is a good idea. You could always add extra sweetener to the cream cheese before the topping to help it taste more cheese cake like. Have a great weekend and love to Annie.

*Great idea!* I will try to make this low sugar/ low carb by using low carb bread & I'll defrost some frozen berries (all berries are low glycemic fruit) - thank u for the inspiration & sorry Annie made a mess lol! 😂🎅🎀🎄🙏⛪️

I’ve made that many times but just used strawberry preserves on top of the cream cheese. The pie filling is a new twist. I like the idea of using waffles too Jim! Yummy and a bit slow but Annie approved! Cheers!

Back in the day, people who did not have a lot of money to spend on food ( which is more common right now) , would make sugar bread. A slice of bread, not toasted, with some sugar on top. It's pretty good too. Had to laugh at Annie. Not sure about it at first, which is why she dropped it. But she did gobble it up ( gobble, Thanksgiving weekend meal). Thanks again for your video..

Jim that looked good you could probably use ah jam to. simple and tasty looking. someone brought up butter on bread with sugar and I remember that. wouldn't want to eat that again. bless you and annie always. 👍🙏
When I was in college, I was always broke. So I use to do that with jam or jelly. pop in the microwave for 10 seconds to melt the cream cheese.

You can try adding salt to water to clean up messes. Adding a little lemon or vinegar can make a more powerful cleaner. I have a doggie too, and keep a spray bottle handy. 😊😊😊

I used to do this years ago with strawberry or raspberry jam…then years later they started coming out with favored cream cheeses…which are NOT nearly as good and/or healthy as this method 😊👍🏻

Hey maybe swapping out the white bread for cinnamon toast or raisin toast might enhance the flavor for you
