Every quilt that we as perfectionists are unsatisfied with, will be richly appreciated when donated to a women’s shelter. Women and Children don’t care that seams don’t match, or that the color is wrong. Quilts provide that hug that we are all in need of. Just a thought.
On the blue table runner with the stars that fade into the surrounding fabric, let me suggest that you hand embroider around the edge of the star using 4-6 strands of dark thread. I had to do that on a project and it made a huge difference.
Finish the quilts even if you don’t like them. Use them to practice your long arm quilting. Then donate them. I sent one to the Sew Yeah Alaska Quilt drive this year. But I know any organization you can donate to the recipients will love them💕
Wow! That’s a lot of beautiful quilts!!! There just doesn’t seem to be enough time to get everything finished….unless you give up sleeping!! I’m anxious to see you take on some of them!!
All your quilts are lovely. Practice your longarming on the ones you dont like. Someone will appreciate it anyway. Donated or given, the person getting it will love your heart and soul that you put in it when making it.
We are our worst critics, it’s all a learning curve. Your quilts are all lovely. Thanks for sharing ❤️ I especially like the connector scrappy version.
That Kaffe Fasset just needs a small border to match the sashing. Loved the quilt for your husband's cabin. Both of the stained glass quilts were beautiful. I watched your video on those and am looking through my batiks for my fabric. Loved the red and black three yard quilt. That Summer Soiree is so pretty. I'm on a learning curve with my long arm as well. Just trying to get better and my quilt tops are piling up as well. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing quilts! And so, so many! I love them all. Going to look up the connector charm video and make one for each holiday! Thanks for all the inspiration.
Oh my! There’s someone else out there in quilting land that is like me! I have so many that just need little finishes and they would be complete. I believe they call ‘squirrels.’ 🪡🧵✂️
Looks like you’re going to be very busy on your long arm! All your quilts are beautiful and anyone that receives them will be happy to get them. If they have any small imperfections, they will never notice and no need to point them out. Happy Quilting, great video. Will you do any videos of quilting them on your long arm? I don’t have a long arm but like you I have a lot of unfinished quilt tops and I would like to get them finished for family and friends.
Love how your Summer Soiree turned out! Mine is still in pieces, but soon to be joined up. So far I have only quilted on my domestic. Your other finished quilt tops look great too!
The quilt from Pat Sloan that you couldn't think of the name was the 2021 March Block A Day called Hope. I didn't make it but I watched Pat's quilt come together. Thanks for sharing your UFO's, WIP's, and finished tops. We all have a stack too! 😊
Like your tops, glad to know that I’m not by myself with what was I thinking on colors or material not looking like I thought it would. You are much better than myself , don’t worry we are all human lol, just enjoy the process that’s what I’m telling myself.
wow what great quilts...thanks for sharing....I been using paper pantographs for the last two years and had trouble with my points looping and watched a Handi-Quilter video where someone used the cruise mode on the machine so that when you pause at a point the needle keeps moving and now my points are perfect!...thought i would share that learning which may help with your pantographs (my dream someday is to integrate that computer with my longarm, until then, the laser is my guide)
Love the stained glass looking ones. Will have to go to your channel and watch. I went thru my UFO's recently. If it didn't speak to me, I donated it away. It's okay to gift them to someone else who will love them .
Beautiful quilt of valor love the piece backing, lots of awesome projects. Very colorful quilts, really like Lori Holt fabric, we’re our own worst critic thanks for sharing
Looks like you got a new chair! Love it. I've made a few quilts that I'm not real fond of. One went to the dog for her to cuddle with. Btw, I have never made a quilt where all seams and intersections line up perfectly - always have a few stubborn points. Thank you for sharing!
Hi. You are way toooo hard on yourself. I want to share 2 pieces of advice that more experienced quilters gave me. (1) Finished is better than perfect. and (2) Once the quilt is quilted, no one is going to see the missed points and do you really think that if you gift a quilt to someone, they are going to check it for accuracy? They will be so impressed and happy with a quilt. Also, have you considered taking some longer training from the company who made your long arm or a quilt shop. If you were more comfortable on the machine, can you imagine what you could accomplish. I wish I had half of the quilt tops done that you have. For every quilt you have that you don't like, give it away just as it is , someone will love it or redo it. This is supposed to be enjoyable. Lighten up and enjoy my friend.
What a great variety in patterns and fabric. You rock! I would not take out the Eleanor Burns top - it looks good. The missed points don't jump out, which they would, given the contrast. Once quilted, it will be awesome.
I recently found your channel and I am enjoying working my way through your videos. I would love to know if you ever finished the gorgeous Designer Mystery Quilt from Fat Quarter Shop. I made that quilt and it is so beautiful! I hope you finished it. I also like the colorful quilt you showed at about minute 19. I do think that is a Fat Quarter Shop pattern. It's so pretty in the bright colors you used. You have a lot of nice projects here!
Yes, I did finish the quilt and I gave it away for a Christmas gift. It is a free pattern from the Fat Quarter Shop. I have not finished the Designer Mystery unfortunately. 🤦♀️ So many quilt projects, so little time. Thanks for watching 😊
Enjoyed your video of your UFO's and such. You seemed to be just like the rest of us quilters in that you have some unfinished quilts. I do this once a year and just pull out all of my unfinished projects and try and work on some. I especially liked your heart quilt and don't remember you mentioning the name of the pattern but I may have just missed it. Would you share what pattern you used to make the pink/red heart quilt. I love making quilts with heart motifs and I would like to add this pattern to my list of "to do" patterns. Thanking you in advance.
I don't see any problem with the color choices on some. The color placement is the issue. If the stars were all dark blue, they would show up as long as all the other fabrics were lighter.
Your quilts are beautiful and I had or have trouble with pantographs myself until I watched whirlsnswirlsquilting on RUclips. This lady is the bomb. I have really improved my longarm quilting learning from her. Just saying you might look her up and check it out.
Yes, she is awesome. I did watch her some this week. Lol, that's probably why I got the two done. I need motivation that is for sure. Thanks for watching. 😀
Im a little late to the comments but why not use that heart table runner size piece (with the gray) as part of the back on your on point heart quilt. Use the ones you dont care for on the backs of similar colored or patterned quilt tops. I have quilt tops i dont like that I'm thinking of donating to the local quilt group. They will finish and donate. I get to where I just want them gone!
I’ve have already finished the on point quilt. I may look at that table runner again in a few months and decide that I like it. I have done that with other things I have made. Thanks for watching 😊

So true, I donated 2 quilts last week to Project Linus.
On the blue table runner with the stars that fade into the surrounding fabric, let me suggest that you hand embroider around the edge of the star using 4-6 strands of dark thread. I had to do that on a project and it made a huge difference.
Lots of beautiful work! Throw those quilts on the longarm and meander it or do some loops. Those quilts will be so loved.Go Girl! Subscribed!
Finish the quilts even if you don’t like them. Use them to practice your long arm quilting. Then donate them. I sent one to the Sew Yeah Alaska Quilt drive this year. But I know any organization you can donate to the recipients will love them💕
Wow! Seems to me you can be very proud of yourself for all you’ve accomplished. Love watching your videos. I appreciate the variety you show us
Wow! That’s a lot of beautiful quilts!!! There just doesn’t seem to be enough time to get everything finished….unless you give up sleeping!! I’m anxious to see you take on some of them!!
Really enjoyed seeing all your quilts and projects. They are all beautiful. 💗 thank for coming over to my live today it was great to see you there. ☺️
Jamie I’m very impressed with all your beautiful quilts. practice practice practice I wish I had a long arm.
Very nice quilts , I love your videos ,you give me inspirations ❤
All your quilts are lovely. Practice your longarming on the ones you dont like. Someone will appreciate it anyway. Donated or given, the person getting it will love your heart and soul that you put in it when making it.
I like the project that you said "hurt your brsin". I love your layout. Finish it, please and gave a tutorial on it.
I’ll work on it. 😊
Jamie your blocks look pressed to perfection.. would u consider doing video on your pressing techniques for a few diff seam types?
Yes, I can do that. The first of September I plan on having my new pattern ready to go and so I can demonstrate my pressing on those blocks.
I’m glad to see someone else has that many UFO’s! They are all very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Your quilts and patterns are beautiful, don't be so hard on yourself. They all turned out great. Get them quilted girly..!!

Amazing works! I appreciate all of them.
I can't imagine what the backing for all of those is going to cost! I'd love to see an update on your gorgeous work.

It’s the nicest stain glass quilt I’ve seen! Love your work!
The quilt from Pat Sloan that you couldn't think of the name was the 2021 March Block A Day called Hope. I didn't make it but I watched Pat's quilt come together.
Thanks for sharing your UFO's, WIP's, and finished tops. We all have a stack too! 😊
The Irish chain with the falling colors and green border is beautiful. Finished you will love it and if you don’t , give it away to someone.
Thank you, it will be quilted soon. I’m now actually going back towards those colors 🤷🏼♀️ I guess everything has a season. Thanks for watching 😊
Ooh I would finish that summer soirée! that looks like it’s gonna be beautiful❤️
I really like the pattern that you wrote. Really nice. Don't be so hard on yourself.
Like your tops, glad to know that I’m not by myself with what was I thinking on colors or material not looking like I thought it would. You are much better than myself , don’t worry we are all human lol, just enjoy the process that’s what I’m telling myself.
Love the cabin one❤
There are some beautiful quilts you have!
Thank you 😊

Now I know there is someone who has ufos than I have. Maybe there is hope for me. Keep up the good work.

All your quilts are Beautiful!😊❤️
I like the pattern you designed.
Best idea ive seen using curiouser cat. Looks amazing in the woven pattern
Thank you 😊

Add some big borders around those quilts you don't like - someone will love it.
I think that you are too hard on yourself and your projects. They look good and will be even better when finished. Thank you for sharing them.
I’m working on that. I’ve come to realize after they are quilted and bound the mistakes are a whole lot less noticeable. Thanks for watching 😊
I have been watching this video. I think you are too hard on yourself. Your work is beautiful.
Thank you and yes I am hard on myself sometimes but I’ve lightened up here lately. Thanks for watching 😊
I made placemats for my sister with those same Swedish xmas panel pieces...cute ornament!

It’s Be Mine by Laundry Basket Quilts. Thanks for watching 😊
I would finish those up that you don’t like and give those for gifts 😂
I don't see any problem with the color choices on some. The color placement is the issue. If the stars were all dark blue, they would show up as long as all the other fabrics were lighter.
I think I needed more contrast with the white fabrics. 🤷🏼♀️
pick one each month and finish them thats what i have done still have lots to do good luck
I think you are way to hard on yourself. Your Quilts are beautiful.
Thank you and I’m trying to get over myself 😉
Lol, I think all quilters have extra projects to do. I have about 20+ WIP's and UFO's.
The Pat Sloan sew along that you couldn’t remember the name is “March Hope”. I did that one and Summer Soirée also.
Thanks, I couldn't remember that for nothin;)
Your quilts are beautiful and I had or have trouble with pantographs myself until I watched whirlsnswirlsquilting on RUclips. This lady is the bomb. I have really improved my longarm quilting learning from her. Just saying you might look her up and check it out.

I have sometimes put a quilt top together and then didn’t like. I take the top apart and make it something different.
Go easy on yourself….love color choice…

At least I know I'm not alone in undone projects
😂
You are way to hard on your self your quilts are great
You must be really busy if you cant finish quilts......Do one a week wont take long then
