Laundry Soap Recipe
1 (5 lb) Bag Arm & hammer baking soda
• 3 (5.5 oz) bars of finely grated Kirks castile soap (I prefer free and clear)
• 1 (3 lb 7 oz) Box Of arm & hammer super washing soda
• 1 (4 lb 12 oz) Box Of borax
• 20 drops lemon essential oil
• 1 (3 lb) Container Of oxiclean (no dyes or perfumes)
Borax is actually very good. Disinfects and cleans. It's boron -a natural element that we need and all are deficient in. ❤

I have used vinegar in my fabric dispenser for years , also helps with static . I also put it in my rinse water to rinse the shampoo out of my hair . I love the yellow dress on you .

Love your upbeat videos! I'm with you on the whole borax controversy. I have been using it exclusively for washing my laundry for a couple years now because detergent seems to leave a funky stink in our laundry. Borax just works the best with our softened water without any issues. I haven't had any holes like another commenter mentioned.

I have made that laundry detergent for years! At least 10! Love it! The only difference is that I use that Naptha soap to grate in. It's a little softer which makes it a little easier to grate.

Loved this!! I've been enjoying making laundry soap for my family for awhile now, yours is very similar to what I usually do. I bought a electric food grater at a yard sale that I like to use to shave my bar soap. Just a idea and if it breaks it was only like 5 bucks 🥴

Hey Raquel any box cake you bake add a TBsp of Mayo makes your cake so moist best cake ever beat it for about 8 mins and beat ur egg whites always separate …good luck!

I'm making the laundry soap today & looking forward to trying it! When you said you use a scoop per load..approx how big is your scoop?
I would say I average about 1/4 scoop for a large load!
I have been using a laundry soap very similar to this. I have started not putting borax in mine cuz someone said that borax can leave little holes in your clothes and my daughter has 2 dresses that I had to throw away cuz of little holes that appeared after washing it.

Is this ok to use as a baby laundry soap as well?
Yes, my philosophy for laundry soap is that if it’s not “clean” enough to use for your baby, it’s probably not the best for you either. I haven’t had any issues with using it on her since newborn.
Is it 2 or 3 bars of the kirks castile soap for one recipe?
