Paul & Lynsey's Zoo Tour

Prague Zoo has always been high on our list of collections to visit. We finally managed to visit last July and it didn't disappoint. We spent nearly 2 days there and still felt we didn't have enough time.
There are so many animals (including lots of rarities) to see, and plenty of indoor houses for smaller or nocturnal species, with the Giant Chinese Salamander house being a particular highlight. Our only disappointment was that the terrarium was closed during our visit so we missed out on seeing the lake Titicaca Frogs.
The zoo is massive, and to get to the top involves either a strenuous climb up a steep slope, or the easier option - chairlift.
To get the best experience at Prague, you definitely need at least two days to see everything.
A great visit, and easily climbs into the top 10 best zoos in Europe. I can't wait to go back!
