Nice. What about telling about the brushes used. A list of them with practical details will be much appreciated.
I have asked this quesiton, no reply given. I am not familiar with this brush he used for that bushy effect. I tried using others with inferior results. I wish he would do the courtesy of answering. Until he does, I will just give him a thumbs down for each video. He might be using ordinary makeup brush for that matter.
@@lindakachur4862 Hi, I have been doing some research, And these are my conclusions: The first large brush he uses is one to the style Bob Ross uses, the 2 background natural bristles one. Interestenly the palette knife this painter uses is also like the one use by Bob Ross. The second brush, the one you inquire about for the bushy effects, must be a round/oval goats hair mop brush. there are diverse sizes. and the last white smaller brush, could be a Reborn Doll paint brush, Maxine Mop. also of goats hair. I have bought all the tree brushes in a couple of sizes ea and I'm getting the same effects as this painter. Hope to have been able to help a little. Cheers from Oz
@@TessMArt Thank you. Where did you find these goat hair brushes, especially that which produced the bushy look? I looked all through Amazon with no luck.
@@lindakachur4862 Mine is a one inch Loew Cornell Maxine's Mop goats hair. I bought it at eBay. (about 20 ausy dollars) it does the job beautifully, but only with acrylics or water painting. Not oils mind you. But here in Australia other mop brushes or inferior quality are esily found at most art stores. Cheers
😵😱 wow
I agree!
that is great painting❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

❤️🧚♂️
Love this!! What would you call that round type brush???
It's a mop brush size 20
What was the white stuff u used first
White paint
Can you tell how did u made the reflection..did u add water or what??
Just blending the paint
It's easy
I have tried this but seem to have so so results. It doesn't look as bright as yours which i admire. Also how can i translate the technique to a larger canvas? Say 11x14
First like!! 😅💓
This looks amazing! I wonder how he uses the brush to brush the paint down to create the reflection... Does he add water to the brush before he does it? Why isn't the paint dried up yet? How did he make the strokes so smooth? D:
Pls help :(
He painted a layer of white on the top and bottom before he added the colors.
@@Teewriter yea but wouldnt the paint have dried by by then? How does he fix it?
Ok. I procrastinated for several months. Bought acrylic paint. Sets of brushes. Easel. Got ready to start on this painting but I don’t think I have the first brush you used on the landscape. I didn’t see anything like it on amazon. What is it called? 😊
Did you add water on your brush to create the water reflection? I hope your instructional videos are clearer.
Lovely. But addition of clouds would make it complete.
What kind of brushes are you using?
They do seldon tell you.
Which paint colors do you use??
👏👏👏👏
😍😍😍😍😍
Wow!
I love your work, you have the patience and talent for every beautiful detail. Really enjoyed this one! =) have a good week fellow artist
It looks easy to paint in these videos, but you have to be so deft and elegant with your brush/palette strokes. Otherwise, you just get a huge blotch of color without definition. Also be careful not to allow unwanted color blendings. I never worked with acrylics before. I had difficulty because of the lack of a proper oval/round brushes which Amazon cannot send to Canada. I made use of furniture brushes and this is where I failed to achieve that fine definition. Those brushes were simply too thick. Any suggestions?
Can I do something like this with oil paints
kurtis Carr it might even be easier to do with oil paints as it has a slower drying time than acrylics :) They won’t dry as quickly so it’ll be easier to blend like this. (I didn’t even know you could paint like this with acrylics)
