Knock, knock,knock, TRICK OR TREAT!!!! EVERY HALLOWEEN, Kids go trick or treating to get lots of candy, many people are also "tricked" into thinking they are good enough to go to Heaven when they die. The real trick is to know I'd your good to go there. God gave us the 10 commands to help us see how good we REALLY are !!! Have you ever lied, worshipped a certain person or thing (that idolizing, 2nd commandment) stole something, always obeyed your parents? The bible says If you if you hate someone, it's just like murdering them. The Commandments show us how bad we really are, and the standard that we will be tested by when we die. On that day, God will punish all people who have broken any Commandments. They will be sent to a place called Hell a really bad place where you don't want to go. Even though that's a scary thought, there is GOOD NEWS !! God in his mercy loves sinners so much that made a way to be forgiven before judgement day, so we don't have to be punished. God sent his only son Jesus Christ down to earth. He lived a perfect life, he went to the cross to pay the penalty for sin. He took the punishment we deserve. After three days Jesus rose from the grave and DEFEATED DEATH!!! So what can you do? The bible says we should put our faith (belive) in what did on the cross stop believing that just being "good" will be enough to get you into Heaven! The bible says God will give you a new heart that want you to obey him and do what he wants to do. He will help you stop doing the things that are bad. Get a bible and read it every day so you can learn more about Jesus!
How to give your life to Jesus!
Pray (talk) to God, Admit youre a sinner, you need God's salvation.and you don't want to go to hell. Believe what Jesus done, confess that you you choose will follow God's will for your life.
And bonus ! Grow your relationship with God our heavenly father, treat him as if he's best friend ever !!
