What a memorable tournament by both Gukesh and Nodirbek.
We are lucky, the future of chess is looking very bright.

And then, two years later, an even more motivated Gukesh wins both the Olympiad and the World Chess Championship title. Congrats to all the Indian fans!

If he just accepted a draw in this game, they probably would have won gold. He should have taken the team's standing over his own's self record. I hope he learned from this.

Exactly. But he paid for his ego, which is also why he won gold. So TEAM MANAGER should also have given STRATEGIE to draw

Today in our country they welcomed with an amusement. Our prezident gave 60 00 $ for each champion, 4 - room apartment in the centre of the capital and luxury car per each which costs 40k.

Such a vacuous commentary. Check out agadmator's Chess Channel ruclips.net/video/2S-1BFc2zvo/видео.html for a great brake down of what just happened - start at about the 6 minute mark - a missed opportunity for Gukesh. Heart breaking
