To be honest, I think the description is accurate. What Sebas was talking about was his own gauging of strength, remember that when he was infuriated by the bold claim of "Undead King" (laughs maniacally) Sebas just used air pressure to pulverize their heads, he didn't even touch them. In this case "the slightest bit stronger" emphasizes the "slight". Essentially, he stomped on the ant enough to crush its head and nothing more. Otherwise, his kick would just disembowel him.... and worse...
He was actually based off of the "tattooed monk" prestige class in dungeons and dragons 3.5 edition. They have magical tattoo's that let them call upon supernatural animal strengths.
antoine jluian, Sebas isn't even a physical fighter, and neither Sebas nor Cocytus are the strongest warriors in Nazarick, that would be Rubedo. It's in fact so that Rubedo is the strongest entity in Nazarick, and she is the last defense on the 8th floor, and she's basically uncontrollable... and the only threat to Nazarick itself. As she rivaled even the entirety of the 41 Supreme Beings. The reason for the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown's existence is to make sure they can control Rubedo in case anything goes wrong. The staff is currently under control by the leader of the Pleiades, Aureole Omega.
@@robensmonteau161 Ainz with the equipped staff would defeat Shalltear with pure raw power, but he chose not to risk it, and still beat Shalltear twice (in this case, she died twice, only she had a Peroroncino resurrection item).
I think Zero proved he was indeed one of the strongest people in the kingdom. His head remained mostly intact after being kicked by Sebas long enough to ask a question. He died sure, but he still lived long enough after the hit to question and make Sebas actually notice it.
Disagree. Sebas probably severely pulled his kick. If he hadn't, then Zero's blood could have splattered all over his nice clean suit. Or at the very least, it would have totally soaked his shoe and socks in blood, ruining them. Sebas _is_ a butler and as such takes pains to maintain an impeccable appearance.
Now we know why the UI from Yggdrasil has been removed in the new world. It's not because it would feel like a video game, it's because all the people would run away because Sebas' level icon wouldn't be a number but a skull.
Some characters like Evileye can vaguely guess a certain character's level based on their mana. The reason Ainz is incognito is because of his ring that hides his mana.
Chris Mulkey there’s no such thing actually. Some people have talent that allows them to see other people’s mana, thus allows them to assume how strong a person’s magical capability is. As for none living objects, he can use spells like all appraisal magic item, but there won’t be any UI popping out. Man Zero was really tough, his head still retained its shape and didn't explode on contact with Sebas' foot, seriously think about what he did to the other Six Arms members, there was a definite gap in power between the leader and the rest.
True, although Sebas did get a little angry witnessing the audacity of the undead guy calling himself the undead king, and as such might have put in a little more effort in that fight than this one.
well, its true, he was stronger then him by how much he shows with fingers, only thing is, you just cant see that small, compressed galaxy between his fingers
@Fyrick24 I might be misunderstanding here, so bear with me. But assuming that you mean that Sebas only JUST had enough defensive power to withstand the hit is a bit silly. Even Ainz, with his immense magic resistance, could call out on an Angel at least dealing him pain while not necessarily damaging him a whole lot. Sebas here doesn't flinch, or even budge an inch, at that strike (of which physical resistance is amongst his strongest attributes), all of it going straight back to Zero. It would be like us striking a solid metal wall - the force has to go somewhere.. and it definitely wasn't into Sebas. By thinking that Sebas had JUST enough raw defensive power to withstand full powered Zero, you have to start thinking that Zero would be able to harm even the likes of Ainz (who has substantially less physical raw defense) aswell as Albedo and Shalltear. Hell, even Cocytus.. but Cocytus could take a serious hit from Sebas. Serious enough to carry force to instantly kill a human. So no, Sebas was just being modest with that "that much stronger" remark. Zero would never be able to harm even the Pleiades, let alone Sebas who could defeat all of them in one go if transforming into his real form.
Perhaps Sebas was measuring the difference in the power of their attacks they used on each other and is like, I was this small amount more stronger with my attack. Too bad he died else he could have asked Sebas for a rematch but then he did pick a fight with someone who clearly was unharmed by 4/6 of the Six Arms in a 4v1, it was pretty much clear he was in over his head, if he did survive though that would be one splitting Headache.
IIRC Clementine was around level 30 at the time of her death, and I believe she was stated to be stronger than even Gazeff with his best equipment if she had her gear from Black Scripture (but without it, she'd be overwhelmed by a fully-equipped Gazeff). Zero very likely wouldn't even be a match for Clementine, so I'd say Zero would probably be somewhere around level 20-25 tops.
I believe Evileye is actually between level 45 and 50 (but not above 50, as I don't think she's a higher level than Yuri Alpha), but is still considered stronger than Entoma due primarily to Vermin Bane, though it's also the fact that Entoma's 'build' is more for combat support than direct combat on her own. For instance, Yuri Alpha is level 51 (so if we 'low-ball' Evileye as being a level 45, then Yuri's only 6 levels higher), but could be considered 'stronger' than Evileye because stat-wise she's much more min-maxed towards being an extremely strong close range fighter that lacks points in 'wasted' stats that she has no use for, so if Yuri can keep Evileye locked into a close-range fight she'd have the edge over Evileye, but if Evileye could keep her distance then the odds may shift into Evileye's favor. But otherwise, I'd say your estimates would be fairly accurate. Between Gazeffand Brain though, I'd put Gazeff as 1-2 levels higher than Brain, and Brain has indicated before that Gazeff is stronger than him (though Gazeff respects him as a fellow warrior who can give him a genuine challenge), so I'd say the level difference between Gazeff and Brain would be very small. Clementine would probably be in the low 30s, while being closer to 35 than 30. That being said, I'm honestly hoping to see Clementine return at some point (possibly as some sort of undead or non-human so that she'd have become much more powerful than she was as a human). IIRC her body actually goes missing after E-Rantel's authorities take her body into custody, which makes me believe that her somehow returning later wouldn't be too far-fetched. Hell, personality-wise, I think she'd fit in with Nazarick quite well, though Ainz and the Guardians would need to keep her on a tight leash in that case.

@@TheAyanamiRei Yeah, I mean, Brain himself thinks Sebas is the strongest person in the world at this point (until he finds out about and sees what Ainz himself can do).
Let's be honest here, if you wanted a show where the main characters actually have to work to beat anything that isn't within their own ranks, then you came to the wrong show. Granted, it's a little boring. At least one punch man is funny about it.
Love everything about Sebas, powerful enough to destroy a country but humble and compassionate enough to not flaunt said power, and save a human, an ant from his perspective, from her horrible situation.
He's also one of the most compassionate members of Nazarick whom also doesn't look down on humans like the others. Sebas even has one of the highest Karma stats (while Demiurge has one of the lowest, hence why Sebas and Demiurge usually do not get along very well).
"Karma" refers to how good or evil someone is. Low Karma means they're evil, and High Karma means they're 'good'. Demiurge has very low Karma (meaning he's outright evil) while Sebas has very high Karma (making him very much a 'good guy'). That is one reason why Sebas and Demiurge don't get along very well. Yuri Alpha also has high Karma.
The version I read translates that stat as "Justice". It works like a basic Good / Evil alignment irrespective of personality and loyalties. That's why the sapient death orb artifact that was influencing Khajit pledges allegiance to Ainz after he picks it up. It sensed that he was super evil.
JK Network I can't help but feel that he was inspired by black butler. I mean Sebas - Tian. Just combine the first and last names then you get Sabastian
I think the whole Sebas Tian thing is a pun with tianlong (the chinese mythology heavenly dragon) which given he's a draconian/dragonoid and his good karma kinda fits
Sebas deserves his own season / arc! He's by far the most interesting Nazzarick denizen as far as interactions with the humans and the world goes. And he murders guys in a very polite manner.
In retrospect, Zero must have been quite powerful. The other elite members of 6 arms were all instantly decapitated or their skulls were blown apart by Sebas' strikes. Zero's head was not only mostly intact, but he survived a couple seconds and was able to speak some final words after being struck. Granted his skull was cracked open, but still he must have been significantly stronger than the rest of 6 arms just for that.
The reason is: Zero is a monk and can make his body as hard as metal with "Iron Hide". Zero is really strong though, normal monks can become as hard as iron, the Lizardman monk as hard as steel while Zero can become as hard as Orichalcum. To bad that Sebas the level 100 monk is probably a bit harder.
Sebas has a good sense of humor. It's always very funny to me how utterly defenceless everyone is in the face of Azin and Co. Entoma Zeta only got her ass kicked because she was overconfident (that and bug spray, of course).
Entoma's also only level 51, the Pleiades are lvl 46-63. The strongest beings in the new world aside from Ainz Ooal Gown are around lvl 40-60 so they can still pose a threat to the Pleiades. Nothing can match Ainz, the various floor guardians, Sebas, or Pandora's actor though whom are all at level 100.
Also Pleiades really only existed as a fun encounter. Hence why they're not max level. I mean once you beat Shaltear, Marae and Aura, Cocytus, Demiurge, the maids themselves aren't much of a challenge.
Actually, the Pleiades were meant simply as a 'delaying force', not intended to defeat invaders, but simply to buy time for the 41 guild members to gather in the throne room for the final showdown. Though Sebas was set up as a wolf in sheep's clothing since he's a level 100 but appearance-wise only looks like a 'mere' butler (so that invaders would overlook him and focus on the more dangerous-looking Pleiades).
Alexandre Martins She was actually very cautious. The anime didn’t show it, but Entoma was feeling out Gargaran and Tia their entire fight, fighting how strong they are and where their strengths lie, and then going for the kill after an adequate assessment.
1. I believe Evileye is actually stronger than Entoma, even without Bug Spray. Just was a lot easier with that. 2. @Gamester512 The writer is rather vague, and....not very good. But he did state, that if anyone ever reached the throne room, they would lose. They had no chance against anyone who could make it that far. So you're kinda wrong on that haha.

The EngiWizard technically you would be a fool to believe zero had a chance of winning anyways.
TBF to Crunchyroll, the fight itself lasted just as long as the thumbnail.
Let's be honest here, if you wanted a show where the main characters actually have to work to beat anything that isn't within their own ranks, then you came to the wrong show. Granted, it's a little boring. At least one punch man is funny about it.

@@ravinercf _Just alittle bit._
Love everything about Sebas, powerful enough to destroy a country but humble and compassionate enough to not flaunt said power, and save a human, an ant from his perspective, from her horrible situation.
Modest butler is modest
He's also one of the most compassionate members of Nazarick whom also doesn't look down on humans like the others. Sebas even has one of the highest Karma stats (while Demiurge has one of the lowest, hence why Sebas and Demiurge usually do not get along very well).
gamester512 what do you mean by karma stats?
+10% Special Attack, -10% attack. Still one hit KO’d him.

Surely you jest Sebas
He is called Zero because thats how much damage he inflicted on Sebas.
“It seems I was just the slightest bit strongest”
Super tier trolling

I love how the opening credits made it look like this was going to be an actual fight. Nope. Sebas just straight up axe kicks his head in.
The sheer flexibility tho
Sebas: “It seems I was just the slightest bit stronger.”
Brain: “Of course, Sebas - absolutely agree.”

Considering he got a whole 3 seconds in the OP, I was hoping there would actually be a fight
Spuffle what did you expect? The highest level non Nazarik is like 55 and Zero is at around 40. Sebas if my memory is correct is lvl 100.
he is level 100 and more then just your regular butler I give you that.
i'm pretty sure that Shalltear would still beat sebas up in melee,Albedo also beats sebas although in her case it's about compability
Darewin Ocampo iirc i read somewhere that it was a three way tie between cocytus, albedo and sebas, each one beating one but losing to the other.
Darewin Ocampo i only read that on some wiki Page, therefore it might very well be wrong.
Hilarious that he just punched a dragon with his fist like it would do anything

"Lord Ainz Ooal Gowns butler."
"Who are you?!"
"I am simply one hell of a butler."
"Whew that was a close call"
Me: yeah sebastian, everyone in the room could see, it could have gone either way.
It was a close call. He was this close to wrinkling the suit.
Sebas would have to iron it.
Like I said a year ago.
Very lucky to have a God tier being on his side.
Zero: "What are you?!"
Sebas: "Done with your &*^%*"
Sebas. One of the most badass butlers in Anime
JK Network I can't help but feel that he was inspired by black butler. I mean Sebas - Tian. Just combine the first and last names then you get Sabastian
Marshall Bernarte lol now that I think about it, it could be possible
I think the whole Sebas Tian thing is a pun with tianlong (the chinese mythology heavenly dragon) which given he's a draconian/dragonoid and his good karma kinda fits
Sebas a butler?? Thought he was a nomad
Imagine their reaction to knowing sebas isnt even the most powerful where he works
Sebas is like... three rings of status down from the top

gamester512 Damm man I think madhouse need to balance Sebas Gears
Firion316 naw, didn't you hear sebas say he was "just the slightest bit stronger"?
And the oscar goes to... 2:06
"The truth is often taken to be a surprising thing." you couldn't have said it better Lord Sebas
Alexandre Martins
She was actually very cautious.

Zero: named after amount of seconds he lived against sebas
Despite him being weaker than Sebas, Zero had some pretty AWEsome abilities.
He was a monk with shamanistic abilities thus using the animal spirits to boost his strength further its a pretty cool combo
No, he was literally just based off of the tattoo'd monk prestige class from D&D 3.5. A lot of overlord is based off of 3.5.
I'm just saying what I read off the novel if you read it
This fight was a Monk vs Monk btw
