The instruments and the Vocals on this as well as the Note changes during the song reminds me of a lot of how Modern-Day 2000’s Rockbands would do their songs such as Weezer, Yellowcard, Greenday, Kings of Leon, fountains of Wayne, Lifehouse Etc. I grew up around 2000s loving Rock/underground music so Hearing the Guitar and drums and the Chorus was really Good when I played it.

One of the other commenters stated it some time ago, but the main hook of this chorus is actually pulled note for note and almost word for word from a song from 2000 called "Crazy for This Girl" by Evan and Jaron. The second verse begins with "She was the one to hold me the night the sky fell down"
