Historical Info:
The Vz. 58 Koncept was a tank with a classic layout. A key requirement for the project was high firepower with minimal hull dimensions. The main armament was the vz.122 gun, equipped with a mechanized loader. The ammunition was standardized with the Soviet D-49 gun. The first-stage ammunition storage was placed in a mechanized conveyor in the rear turret niche. The engine was mounted transversely to the hull, significantly reducing the vehicle's length. The individual torsion bar suspension with telescopic shock absorbers provided high ride smoothness. The ambitious project required a lot of resources and time, and the acquisition of a license to produce Soviet T-54 tanks in 1958 made further work on the tank impractical.
