FF6 best FF. Also, this track is the bomb. Thanks for this. Atma (actually Ultima, but character restrictions on 16-bit hardward, yo) is one of my most memorable fights from my first time through that game.
FF9 is way better in terms of writings. My favourite still is the 8 just for the evolution of the main character. FF7 classic has the best ff story by far. But i have to admit that FF9 is the best overall. Good chars, good tracks, a nice fabula.

Elu Tran do you take requests? If so, could you please mash up the PlayStation and Super Nintendo versions of the normal battle theme from Final Fantasy V? If not, you can do SNES and GBA instead and do PS1 and SNES versions of the battle with Gilgamesh. Thanks😉

I remember the first time hearing this theme on the Floating Continent, and thinking, "Oh boy! We're in for it now!" The game over shortly followed.

You can sleep walk through the fight. The most memorable thing about it is the flavor text at the beginning of the battle lol
