Being able to do that was a bug. They decided to leave that in for future releases because everyone thought it was just awesome.
Man, Final Fantasy 6 is so good! Love the soundtrack too!
The soundtracks, storyline and the unique style of play for each character, make it much more interesting to play.

@@combatrhapsody FF3 on SNES never was the actual 3rd FF to begin with. Back in 1994 it was the FF3 on SNES that's been released in North America, which was the actual FF6 storyline in Japan, because FF2, FF3, FF5 were never released outside Japan yet. So it would be confusing to just drop FF6 in NA market. Hope this help to clear up the confusion. Have a nice day. 😃

I heard that you can still suplex the train in the remastered game it is fun to do that!
Remains my favorite in the series to this day. I am thrilled about the Pixel Remaster but hate that it has been pushed to Feb next year which is 15 years since the GBA port release. So many themes in this game just stand above most other FF tracks from the other games for me.
Same here, FF6 remains my all time favourite among SNES FF series, great soundtracks and storylines.
If I'm not mistaken I think I ever saw a video where Nobuo Uematsu, the composer of FF music once mentioned that FF6 was his very peak of music composition for FF soundtracks during an interview.

FFVI is my favorite game ever. Sabin is my favorite character. After seeing this image of Sabin, just realized that I have been grooming my 2yr old son to look like Sabin with his long hair and tall spikes on the top. Karate classes coming soon. I believe Sabin is a good role model.

i never thought of suplexing the train.
since it was a phantom i used aurabolt......it was a fairly easy battle.

Everyone Suplex's the Train, myself included, but I rarely see people go for the quick-kill by throwing a Pheonix Down. It's my favorite strategy after performing the rite of passage that is Train Suplexing.

always enjoyed this boss theme but felt like it sounds better when it goes harder (some fan remakes are really good) then square absolutely butchered it on the pixel remaster
