Have never been interested in water colouring but now I'm rethinking it. Very nicely taught; thank you! IOD is changing my life with all these amazing tutorials.
Thank you! Will do! Here's another by Lexi that you might enjoy (it's a Christmas ornament, but you could use a different transfer to make year-round home accents): ruclips.net/video/Y_Pck_vDWVM/видео.html Happy making and thanks so much for watching, Lorrayne!
@@lexigrenzer6523 Lexi I love your tutorials; you are thorough, and easy to listen to, you give alternatives and your projects are beautiful! I also would like more please. Please Josie and Sally?🙏 PS Can’t wait for your new releases!! 😘❤️❤️
@@lollylolly8186 I can't tell you how happy that makes me! As a Design Team member, I try to put out a new project every couple of months. However, if you are looking for more watercolor, please feel free to follow me on Facebook @ Lexi Grenzer Art. I keep all of my lessons up-to-date on my Facebook platform.
Stephanie, stamping and watercoloring the stamped images, is how I taught myself how to watercolor. It's the perfect way to start with no pressure. I'm so glad you're inspired to paint!
Thank you so much!! You can do these techniques with any IOD stamp you have in your collection - doesn't have to be Seashore - and it would be beautiful. 😀
Thank you Artsy Maddie! So glad you enjoyed the lesson. If you pop over to Lexi Grenzer Art on Facebook, I'm giving away a set of these stamps - thanks to IOD's generosity!
I love this so much and can't thank you enough for sharing your detailed process! I live near the beach and I'm always looking for unique methods to create high end sea art.
Yahhh, I'm so glad you enjoyed this! IOD's entire line of sea-themed stamps/molds are wonderfully high-end. The next project will be using the molds, so keep a lookout .

Love this because the shells look hand drawn and the texture on the frame is so cool! Thanks for sharing this.
We love it too! And if coastal decor isn't your thing, you can just use a different IOD stamps with the same watercolor/mixed media techniques.

Super 😜
😊 Thanks!
Looks great! What color stamp pad did you use?
Great tutorial! Does the oil protect the stamp from the texture medium?
I’m so glad you liked it! The oil helps keep the stamp from sticking to the texture medium. ❤️
@@lexigrenzer6523 thank you! Plan on trying this technique soon
Using a stamp platform, would enable you to achieve a perfect print in circumstances like this on paper.
Yes! The stamp really make it easy. Thanks for watching, Lyn.
I just love this! Where o you buy a unfinished frame like that??
Renee, IOD sells them. They are called wood gallery blanks, and you can find them with an online or local stockist :)
Yes - the gallery blanks make is so easy because they have a shadow box side that can also easily be used to DIY a frame. :)
Have to say I absolutelylove the projects but that damn music has to go! Yes, I did mute it.
Haha! Thanks for the feedback and thank goodness for mute buttons, right?
