I’ve read everything by anyone that really knew him. In Feast of Friends (a collection of interviews) all his drinking buddies and verified girl friends said he wasn’t violent. He could be a jerk. But even Babe Hill said he just didn’t have violence in him. Also what is the source you e found were he was diagnosed with a condition. What is this conditions name.

I've seen this clip in a few documentary and I always wondered what happened that caused Jim to throw a punch at the camera man. I know Jim was prone to verbal outbursts when he had been drinking but based on everything I've read he was very rarely physically aggressive.
