Ukulelesite is a great music store where professional players demo much of their stock for online shoppers, and Gotaukulele is another great source of objective reviews. Actually, I think several of these tips can be helpful even if you don't know how to play yet - especially trusting your first impression on how the ukulele feels in your hands and how it sounds just playing the open strings. Playing all the strings together and one at a time helps too. Best of luck picking out your ukulele!
