Its funny. FSU students seemed legit salty towards UM students and the UM students just seemed to be entertaining themselves with funny insults.

Miami has better attitudes
One is a better academic school located in Coral Gables, the other is it’s safety school located in Tallahassee.
@@5ledan FSU is now actually ranked higher and has higher admissions standards than UM. UM is a backup school for Northeastern kids who can’t get in anywhere else (save perhaps SMU) and Florida kids who can afford tuition and are denied from UF and FSU.
That’s an objective assessment from a neutral observer. I’m from Palm Beach, so I would know.
@@fitzwilliamdarcy5263 that’s just not true. UM is majorly competitive, and its mediocre ranking is simply due to its value - tuition is incredibly high. I’m from the Northeast and got into umich, northeastern, boston university, and boston college. Still chose the U due to the school’s fantastic professors and brilliant pre-health program.
We can all agree: that video was filled with the worst people I've ever seen.
My FSU degree got me a full scholarship to University of Miami Law School!

they literally have the same acceptance rate. UM is like a couple percent lower because its a smaller school so they cant accept everyone

On a serious note it could legitimately go either way if she was serious, and that ultimately the only insults they could throw at FSU were it not being in South Florida and having more "poor" (i.e. who can't afford a private university in South Florida) kids.

My degree from FSU got me a job at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab in Maryland. So much for two of those statements.
Miami won that battle when the kid complained about not having a place to park his yacht. Any argument a fsu student had was pretty much irrelevant after that.

The unfortunate thing is that the only people who were interviewed were a bunch of rich white kids who are in the sororities and frats. I'm a Nole and my best friend is at UM. Big deal. I don't care about the football to the point where I'm going to degrade another person or campus. Smh, reasons why I don't consider myself a college student anymore. I just study to get my degree. That's it. Who cares where you go. It's all about how you network afterwards anyways.

Friends of mine are at UCF and they don't like it cuz the curriculum is hard. Between OSU and Miami it's a hard choice cuz they're so different. Me personally I would go to Ohio State.

UM and UCF just comes down to if you'd want to spend 4 years in Miami or Orlando & if you don't mind paying 3x extra for tuition for Miami. Ohio State if you love the cold and just want to get out of FL.
To get to Ohio State, you go north until you smell it, and west until you step in it.
Nowhere in Florida will $4 last an entire week.

I transferred from UMiami to Columbia University after my freshman year. But UM was legit dope (though I don't get why they shit on FSU so much; they're not even that much better of a school - just a bunch of kids on daddy's paycheck).

I find it funny how UM kids act like they are hot shit for going to that school and treat FSU like a safety school... I got into both and chose FSU because I didnt feel like wasting 40 grand a semester when I could spend LITERALLY a tenth of the cost at FSU, a school that in all honesty is on par with Miami. Miami's acceptance rate is 40.5%, not too big a difference from FSU, one that I wouldn't justify spending an extra 36k per semester on. If you get A's at either college it can pretty much get you anywhere you want to go, only difference is FSU isn't overpriced. If you ask me, UM is just another UF safety school.

The best part of this video is the delusion of U Miami students. Poor ranking (and sinking annually), low scores, and the ultimate backup school in FL. No one respects a Miami "degree" outside of Dade County. Even in FL, UF and FSU are both considered more acclaimed than "the U." Unfortunately, these students will soon realize the relative disesteem of their degree when they work as insurance agents saddled with $300k worth of debt.
