As an oncall firefighter for Essex CFRS I 100% agree with everything in this video. If is a great job and so rewarding giving something back to the community, and yes we all love the nee naws and the flashing lights.

Here's a 👍 for the retained firefighters at LINCOLN NORTH NETTLEHAM ROAD LINCOLN ( UK) LINCOLNSHIRE, when their pagers go off and your in the vicinity of the station it's pure "POETRY IN MOTION" watching them in their cars turning off the NETTLEHAM ROAD / OUTER CIRCLE ROAD JUNCTION OR JUST OUTER CIRCLE ROAD INTO the car park at LINCOLN NORTH FIRE STATION, they've got it down to a fine art and if you see it for the first time I guarantee you'll never forget what magnificence your watching... it's breathtakingly awesome👍 and they can be mobile within 5/6 minutes flat, thank god for these lads and lasses because you'll never know WHEN YOU MIGHT NEED THEM.... "Thanks for reading my post"

Did 36 years in retained fire service, far from easy juggling 2 jobs, depending on how pro active your fire service is,some are far from understanding on work life balance

I'm amazed you haven't pushed your "diversity" in this ad. I hope no one needs to rely on any of the woke emergency services.

You probably won't bother to say stuff like that when you need the emergency services...at that moment it won't matter whether they are black, white, male, female, gay or straight...or even that they don't have English as a first language...they are there to help you, just remember that.
To those featured in this video, thank you for your service...I hope I never need to rely on it, but equally I'm glad that you will be there if I do.
