Why do you have 🎉hat very annoying beeping?😢
That sounds like audio of the drone's GPS Navigation frequency at 1 second intervals. Not sure why they wouldn't have edited that out.
What annoying beeping? I have my volume down.
@@JohnShinn1960 then turn it up.
Simply to annoy idiots like you watching some amazing footage yet not smart enough to mute the sound. What else do you have to complain about today Karen?
Sometimes you just have to use Mute...............
You're gonna need a bigger crane!
Bring in the Dutch salvage specialists and their world's largest marine cranes ASAP!
"Eastern Shore's largest crane"... that's in Maryland apparently, they better have larger cranes on the Eastern coast of the US!
I mean it's huge, but they'll have to cut everything in pieces first, to clean the main channel!
Close to 2 months or more, most likely way more, for that to happen, IF they could clear their work schedule, which they wouldn't, as it would not look good on their reputation, for being, where, they said they would be!
This just means you take it out in smaller pieces.
They should be able to drag the bridge out of the main channel so shipping can be resumed…
The crane that picked the mv seawol out of the water in south Korea is a 10000 ton crane makes this one look small. You'd think we would have something a least half that big.
@@DR_1_1Exactly, that's probably the largest someone could get on barge and to the site the quickest lol. But you're right, that is a big crane, but it's just dwarfed by the wreckage. That Liebherr 1300, weighs about 350 tons and can lift 300 tons in front of it's face, but it obviously won't have it's full capacity on the barge or reaching out. It's gonna take a bit to clear that, plus they have to figure out how to get all the concrete and asphalt out of there. Gonna be interesting to watch.
My Father And Uncle Took Me Over This Bridge. The Year After It Was Finished. SAFETY To All Involved In Clean Up. Blessing To The Lost .My Condolences and Prayers To The Families.
I don't see why you need a construction beep for. Nothing is being done. We would rather have the swath of the rotor blades!!!
Wow ... thats pretty small for the largest crane on the eastern shore ... Color me surprised
Not really...the eastern shore is kinda small in itself...they didnt say east coast...
Big crane ,,,,,Little barge
Well there getting better at telling us the size of the crane, CNN said it was the biggest crane in the world 😂😂,@@johnrobertson7583
Nowhere near a large crane. That’s a baby compared to some I’ve seen on the east coast
Something wrong with the audio.
Then they need to remove it.
God bless the workers and families
There is no audio, this is raw camera data. Just turn the volume down.
"Zhenhua 30" is the world's largest crane ship, and it is still the world's largest to this day. Its total weight reaches 140,000 tons, the single-arm lifting capacity is 12,000 tons, and the 360-degree full rotation lifting capacity also reaches 7,000 tons, and these theoretical values are not its limits, because during the test , it has lifted ships that are 110% higher than its maximum lifting capacity, so the data of "Zhenhua 30" is still a bit "conservative"
That crane is nothing to those used in the offshore oil and gas industry. Bring in Smit, Heereema or Saipem if you want to see big cranes.
That crane you see there is just one on a work barge. They haven't shown the 100T crane. I don't know why they even mentioned it if it's not in the shot.
@@simplyamazing880The Saipem 7000 has two 7000 ton cranes.
@@brianpaton6687 Honestly I don't think a bug crane is the thing here. Way risky. Cut the bridge free, raose it off the bottom with floats and pull it out of the channel. then they can clear the smaller stuff with cranes or whatever but a big lift will take a lot more time to plan and make heppen. Besides you can't grab the bridge, it will just bend. it's too limber.
@@simplyamazing880 I was thinking the same thing. Get some sort of inflatables in between the bridge pieces and fill it with foam. Then get a big tug to haul it out.
@@pin65371 We should be running this operation.
They made that crane sound pretty big until you see it sitting beside that bridge. This job won’t be done any time soon.
Im guessing they are charging by the hour…
I’m praying for the crew that has to clean all this up! They are all loved by someone and they all matter!!!! Hopefully the equipment doesn’t fail or break and the crew is safe!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Sleipnir is in Rotterdam. That is the sort of lifting power that is needed here.
50-foot-deep water (15 m). Sleipnir draft 105 feet (32 m). Now calculate!
The noise keeps the crane afloat !
Google Earth shows bigger cranes in Curtis Bay right around the corner. Granted those may be elsewhere at the moment. Fortunately there are a lot of marine builders/salvage/dredge companies in that area with equipment.
Praying for the family and friends God bless 🙏❤
Love the audio.
With months of repairs needed but only 3 days given, the still-crippled USS Yorktown was patched up, loaded with aircraft and sent out to win the Battle of Midway.
Stopping the Japanese was a national emergency so repairs were done quickly.
The blockage of this waterway is also a national emergency. There are many ways to quickly break this wreckage down enough to drag it clear of the channel. But who are "they" and are they motivated enough to do so?
What ever they do, someone is going to make money on this.
+ For each piece; 2 floating docks , one chained under each end, tow and anchor out of the way for now.
Yep…barges are pretty handy…
Terrible sound. Painful to listen to.
Barring storms, this will take ~2months. Quicker if they get more cranes and barges.
If they aren't on this continent, they wont get here in time to make a difference.
To me they could use them large barge bladders to lift large sections and move to areas more shallow and clean right away out in less time, crane is a little small
The power line may be a problem, a nice new directional drill might be needed. There is a 7000 ft drill under Charleston harbor to get from the Charlotte St sub to Patriots Point, it was made when the old bridge was replaced, but it was needed because the old line was on the old bridge. Something to consider, a ship hitting a line support would also cause some problems, and it could be a risk during the demo and new construction.
The Navy has cranes that can lift whole ships. I hope the Navy can get there. God help all those trying to help.
Seeing this just makes me so sad.
Following 'my viewer in Kent' if the Dali rammed the structure, why not tug the bridge in reverse-slack chains to get momentum?
Is the barge to be pinned or anchored in place by the two steel tubes? How are the driven in? Do the pumps force water thru the tubes to erode the area below the pipes? I would love to see the 3d modeling they are creating for the dismantling. Thanks for providing the footage. Good job.
Clickbait, again..
hmmm probably they gonna cut the collapsed sections and refloat it with ballooons or floats then tug it away to the side for the meantime
Cutting, floating and dragging away sounds good to me. Only need 700 feet to clear the McHenry Channel. I DO worry about the slabs of roadway and underpinnings laying on the bottom reducing the DRAFT of the 50 foot deep channel. Those heavy slabs may be difficult to raise.
Im not sure why they are using the past tense here..." helped to dismantle " ...afaik there has been no salvage work started yet...heck they are only a couple of days into the investigation...
Looks more like a Land Crane put on a Barge
That’s the largest crane on the east coast? Wow… that’s pretty small tbh.
Can WJLA please turn off the beeping sound?
Great to see the up-close tangle of steel. Get the torch out and start moving parts, get that channel open. Good to see how they stabilized that barge with the crane and dropping the "pilings" down to hold it steady. May the cutting and hauling off begin. New girders and steel should be under fabricating at this moment.
"Eastern Shore" is a salvage company not to be mistaken with the "Eastern Coast" of the United States
How many containers the ship is taken....look thousands
Ya gonna need three more of those sized cranes on barges to even make a dent in the amount of time to clear the remains of that bridge. Just saying.
The largest crane arrives in a few days
Amazing video
Great video
I just spoke with WJLA and the beeping sound is coming from the Helicopter. There's nothing that they can do about it.
What is this sound called. A lot of news choppers have this sound affect playing
Second though if the VB-10,000 is still around from the Golden Ray salvage that could raise the sections with ease not even breaking a sweat.
This is not the largest crane on the Eastern Shore. Media foolishness strikes again.
Its mind blowing how Big is the bridge each container on the ship is semi truck you see the freeway everyday there's 10,000 shipping containers on the ship.
Is this going after the problem with all they have ? .....
That beeping noise is uncalled for we can do without that
Amazing sound. Is that ET calling?
Thats the crane backing up
Heerema and Thialf cranes... 24 ours tops to remove the bridge.
Have seen cranes from Lego bigger then this toothpick.
Sorry but that crane wont do it. You need the SSCV Sleipnir, with that puppy you can be done in less than 3 days.
Is that the big yellow crane that was used for the car carrier?
SSCV Sleipnir has a draft of over 100 feet yet the bay is only about 55 feet. Just how will that work?
If that's the largest crane on the eastern shore they will need to add a few months to the scheduel
More like years
@@JoeLinux2000 weeks... if they are running 24 hours a day they can get this done quickly. They will only cut out enough to pull the rest with tug boats.
That’s a crawler crane on a barge, that can’t be the biggest floating crane on the east coast.
If it is our maritime construction capability is in a sad state of affairs…….. Or it is just a deceptive title.
Why does your headline read "Cleans up" bridge ?
Its not even there yet,
It looks bigger in person
they need the Versabar VB-10000 lift vessel
What that have to do with the price of sugar in Japan ?
Get another large tanker with hawsers- 4 + 6 pontunes Drag in reverse, pontoons to support the framework.Try to have slack in the 4 chains in a series tugs Using tug boats to move the structure,[on pontoons ]Cutting when it is thought necessary. Viewer in UK kent!
Awesome
Is that a joke?
17:00 ❤❤❤❤ el puente del amor ❤❤❤❤ más de 200 veces pase por el puente para ir a trabajar a la bge Baltimore gas eléctrica corporacion 😊😅😮😢😂 ( goliat contra David )
The crane is way too small.
Is this crane capable enough to hold that cutting crew ?! I am a llitle concern. Those guys look kinda chubby.
There are also hydraulic shears that cut the steel beams as if they were matches
That looks rinky dink where the hell are the marine vessel cranes?
Esas gruas son grandes pero esas estructuras de hierro son enormes, todo parece una pelicula de horror como paso este accidente tan grande, creo hoy todos tenemos mas miedo al cruzar un puente🥶🥶🥶🥶
Uuhhh, you better get that crane in Holland that can lift 3,000 tons,I don't think that one in the picture can lift that much,....and you may get people hurt trying to use "cheap, quick and easy". Please for the love of God, do this "the safe way", NOT THE QUICKEST!
The scandinavian cranes have 10,000 metric tonne ratings…
Audio issues, good video coverage
I had to mute the audio, it was making my ears ring.
might as well mute the sound. there was nothing else to listen.
Where are all the divers with cutting torches ?
Looks like boat delivered some det cord and shape charges.
Keep flailing gomer
Thay can get a crane and pull it in place but thay can't get tug boats getting a ship out of port now what's the problem with this 😢
Others are on the way. This was just the closest and the first to arrive. It is dwarfed by the job ahead.
me thinks we need a bigger crane
The crane is not large enough unless going to use four 1000 ton cranes at the same time in a lift. Hate be beeping noose being made
Wht they gonna do with all that metal they gonna let it sink or get it out
Esta es todo un proceso de ingeniería y deconstrucción...
I've seen bigger construction cranes.
Hope below heavyweight Vessels can help to clear the lane faster soon
Allseas Giant ‘Pioneering Spirit’
HANGGONG 5000
Zenhua 30
Chesapeake 1000
SSCV Sleipnir
Saipem 7000
Hyundai-10000
The Asian Hercules III
Blue Marlin
Heerema’s Sleipnir
SSCV Thialf
The problem with some of those cranes they need deep water so they can sink to make them more stable when lifting.
Waste of a video. No pieces removed. What's with all the background racket?
call that a crane
Demolition charges are in order.
They have the big equipment coming....next week will be a different story as to cranes and such
Minding my own business clark
Is the soundtrack by Hans Zimmer?
Think they will a heavy lift barge
What’s with the dial up internet noises?
The crane in the picture is not big at all!!
And Ukraine can not take down a bridge?
Such an annoying sound I'm turning my volume down😅
Plasma cutting 24x7 robots can make precise cuts in a variety of metals and thicknesses. These plasma cutters use nitrogen, which enables them to cut steel, aluminum, and other metals.
God bless 🙏🙏🙏 the USA ❤️❤️❤️
I think your god has more on his plate
If that's the biggest crane it's going to take a long time,
Thst crain looks like the smallest
Snow Birds in trouble this summer - where will they fly away to lay in the sun and eat junk food while grandchildren are in day care?
Yeah it's some sort of SOS
You cannot be serious...we have larger cranes than that...embarassing
All they could find for now.
That's the biggest Crane of all Eastern sea board ???? My Gosh..
My Father.Born And Raised.BALTIMORE. 3:50
Ask Mr.Putin for help, he can quickly build a bridge
Pre med 😮
If thats the largest crane in the east it looks like a tinker toy compared to that bridge.
What in hell is the noise on this video very annoying
So it's posing for pics and memes and not actually helping? Interesting...
there should be like 20 of these cranes operating 24 hours, what a joke
Takes time to move them.
