Maleficent Flies | Orchestral Mock-up

I am thrilled to share my orchestral mock-up of my favorite cue from Disney’s Maleficent. James Newton Howard’s score is an absolute masterpiece. I love the main theme and its variations that capture a wide range of emotions, from fragile and tender to utterly powerful and majestic.
This was an incredibly rewarding challenge that deepened my understanding of how the nuances of live orchestral performances can guide us in breathing life into sample-based music.

WOW!!! Incredible mix, incredible programming, and you captured the expressiveness of that initial theme just perfectly!! Really dope mockup here.
As a composer myself, I find it super hard to get this level of clarity in my mixes. If you don't mind my asking, how are you setting up your mixing template etc?

Thank you! My main libraries are Cinematic Studio Strings, CineBrass, and CinePerc. For choir, I used a combination of Oceania and the women's choir from Metropolis Ark 4.
