      The oxalic acid is the major limiting factor in Cocoyam leaves, this acid causes itching and irritation when consumed. To kill this toxic acid. Soak the Cocoyam leaves for 10-15 minutes in clean water. Then, in order to kill the toxic substance, boil them thoroughly
