    I just picked this unit up. Was missing the plate to use other brand pellets. Customer service was not easy to deal with.
    Their instructions are less than stellar. Don’t mention that plate at all and without watching videos would’ve never known. They also don’t mention what the prime button does. Has a completely different first start procedure that doesn’t mention the button at all.
    Did my first smoke today and noticed if I want to do 250 I need to set the controller temp to 225. The unit kept fairly steady temp during the 4.5 hour cook. Only used about half the hopper.

    I have 2 of the AS350's and I absolutely love them! I did a lot of research on portable pellet grills when I was in the market for 1....2🤔and I came to conclude that this was the best portable pellet smoker for your money. Love all the features and the steaming function which is a plus. If anybody is in the market for a portable pellet smoker than this is the one for you...such a solid product that works great!

    Is the guard for the pellets for different sizes. So it wont fall through so fast? Great video

    Do you still have the smoke daddy pellet pro 2300? I was looking into getting one to smoke more summer sausage and venison sticks. Was curious if you would still recommend it and how even it smoked throughout the cabinet

      So the smoke daddy went to my buddy for exactly tbat reason. He does a ton of sausage and venison sticks, and needed more room. I’m free to use it whenever I wish, and it’s a WONDERFUL smoker. I still have a great relationship with Smoke Daddy, and I cannot recommend their products enough! I simply was just running out of room before I moved, and offloaded about 10 cookers lol.

      @@AshKickinBBQawesome! Do you know how much venison sticks he’s able to fit on there? Does he use the grates or hang? I can only fit about 15 lbs on my smoker I have now but would like to be able to do 40-50 lbs at a time. I appreciate the response!

    Is the asmoke made in the same factory as the pit boss pro portable pellet smoker? Almost looks the same

      I’m honestly not sure about that, but I highly doubt it!

      ASmoke is their own brand and product and not made by Pit Boss.

    I dont understand what the adapter does that you have to use for other pellets. Because there pellets look just the same as everyone else's.

    • @AshKickinBBQ
      @AshKickinBBQ  4 месяца назад +1

      The pellet adapter is for use of less quality pellets that burn quickly and in turn fall through the bars. The adapter keeps them in the firepot burning longer. The ASMOKE brand pellets are not cheap pellets and have a great burn time. I was VERY impressed with their pellets.

    For people that boondock camp, can you plug A Smoke into a Jackary? How much juice does it pull?

    • @AshKickinBBQ
      @AshKickinBBQ  2 месяца назад +1

      You can! I actually have a Jackery, I can run a test and let ya know. Typical pellet grills pull 130-ish on startup and then 24 while running

      How many average size steaks could this do? And the hour heat up seems excessive... Is that Everytime you grill

    • @AshKickinBBQ
      @AshKickinBBQ  3 дня назад

      @@cherylosterkamp7619 it was an hour to do the burn off from the factory oils. Not to heat up.

    they gave that to ya, right? $400 is a lot of money for a small portable grill...

    • @AshKickinBBQ
      @AshKickinBBQ  4 месяца назад +1

      Dennis, as I said in the video…yes they sent it to me. I also stated I had their older model. Also, in the description is a link to get $100 off. Competitively a Traeger Ranger is $450…so getting this one for the price advertised is a darn good deal, especially for what you’re getting. Even the Pit Boss portable pellet grill is $369. That’s the price of goods these days!
