Do these horse boxes have rust on them even though they are made of aluminum. I was thinking of buying one but I can't weld aluminum only stainless steel
I stripped the floor to the chassis and all the walls even the flooring on the tailgate. Disunfe Ted chassis and rust proofed it and waxoyled it too. Big drama to do but no more smell and I always wanted a horsebox but now I'd probably just convert a box lorry if anyone asked my advice
@@spikemcnock8310 I only did the part where fibreglass joined with the aluminium edges and where I covered any holes or cracks in the fibreglass roof itself
Watching with interest as its my plan for retirement (2 Years) to convert a horsebox.
I will be putting all content on here with the progress hope you enjoy the channel and my ideas
That's some project!!! I bet you could put about 2400W of solar up on that roof ;-)
There is 720 Watts of solar sat in the office waiting to goon but probably more will be added

How much paint did your roof need and how much would one tin of it do? Thanks Spike.
Aquaseal roof paint and the smaller tin would of done as the large bucket was overkill.
@@BuiltnotBoughtCampers Did you do all of your 7.5ton horsebox lorry roof?
