Easy mate. You can't be mentioning the big V. ASIC is watching.... (1:50)
An alternative to your DRIP program is a DSSP. Have a look at the tax benefits of investing in companies with DSSP's long term especially if you're just going to buy and hold. Not "influencing" your choice, but have a look at AFI. Its a company that invests mostly in blue chip Australian stocks, has this program and gives a discount for opting into the DSSP. Very tempted to throw some money in, opt in and let it do its thing for the next 20-30 years.
Also worth mentioning that with the new tax rates, as long as the dividend is franked, you pay 0 tax all the way up to $200,000 income for the year (30% from $45,000-$200,000 from about 2025).
Think I've told you before, I was heavy in Telstra as a new investor when it crashed (3:56). Still gives me nightmares...

Hey mate. I'm just providing facts objectively, I'm not providing recommendations or anything. I don't think they can misconstrue what I said as financial advice or a recommendation to any particular stock.
That sounds interesting. Definitely something to look into if you're more of a dividend investor. I was trying to keep this video pretty beginner friendly so I didn't want to get too into the technicals, especially because I'm not really an expert on dividend investing.
Yeah I remember you saying lol sorry to keep bringing it up! Haha :)

I'm not 100% sure but I'd assume pretty soon.. They've been really good with releasing new features and it's definitely something they need to add!
