Good review, I like this car and the direction KIA is taking with design, so many cars look unnecessarily over-designed and complicated these days, this is neat and crisp, and all the car you really need.

I think this is my new car, but with 120hp engine and highest trim level. And with signal red color

Ritari2000 good call and red looks brilliant. Do try both engines and see if you notice much difference before paying more for it.

Wonder what 11,995 pounds comes out to in American dollars for the entry-level 2018 Kia Rio 5-speed in a non-red color. Red will no doubt cost more and also get you a non-6 speed manual transmission, too.

Great Video Review. I think the New Kia Rio Is a great Supermini and I like the Interior of the '3' grade Model you Road Tested

Awesome review, considering this car. One thing I have to ask, why do the daytime running lights look like their always blinking?

    • @driversseat659
      @driversseat659  7 лет назад +2

Richy C that's really kind, thank you. Yeah, the blinking lights are such a shame and it's not the car giving you "the eye", sadly. I believe it's to do with the frequency of the lights verses speed the camera records at. All the best.

why not buy a brand new kia? Buying a brand new car is bad in general. I am also looking for a car that is 3 years old or so.

Leon if you're in the UK. You'll learn that ifbyour Kia breals down, you can wait up to 8 weeks for the car to he even looked and diagnosed by the dealer who sold the car to you.
Whem you take your car in for a service, they usually kick the tyres and only wiggle wheels about. They dont bother to change the oil, filters or anything . second service, they change the oil and not the air filter or even the oil filter.
Instead they chamge the brake fluid and tighten bolts alomg the chassis . if the car is buolt usomg red and blue loctite, them the bolts domt come loose.
Whem they changed the oil in my car, they put the wrong oil .they used 5w-30, but not acea c3 low saps.
All thia bull shit about using genuine branded oils is all bull sugar.
It makes no difference to use shell helix, castrol, mobil1, petronas syntium or gulf. Providing the specifications are an exact match, its fine. Even oil filters, as lomg as the oil filter is made fornyour vehicle and is Bosch, Mann or a reputable brand, it males little difference. Yet the dealers try to scare you woth warranty void stories if you dont use genuine parts.
It makes me laugh how they try and tell you that usimg non bramded Kia/Hyundai branded parts voids your warranty. For example, go and fit Ferodo discs amd pads to your Kia. If the turbo blows up after a year, they'll blame the discs and pads on the car. By the way, none of the parts have any impact on the engine. Lol.
Mazda are the same, so I won't buy a new Mazda.
I love the 2012 sbape mazda3 hatcback. Thays the car i now want. Ill self service it.
Thanks to people lile Scotty Kilmer and Chris Fox, ots easy to maintain your car yourself.
Oh, as well as help from a Haynes manual.
No, Kia cars are rubbish, my diesel is 2 years and 2 months old. It judders, squeaks, rattles and its had two genuine services. Tue technicians dont want to fix it. As it has a long warranty, they wamt you to drive it til it breaks down entirely before they fox ot all.
Whats the point in a squeaky car with rattles amd, bamgs amd judders along always like the MAF is faulty?
Its a horrible experience and one i had to pay for. No thanks, Koa can keep their cars.
      I won't buy Korean again.
Mazda all the way or Honda. My 1994 Del Sol has never failed me at all.
Imbuy a new kia for £15,500 two years later its worth £8,000 of your lucky.
Hand it back after 3 years with 36,000 miles on the clock and youll be lucky of its worth £5,500.
The person who next buys ot gets a decent buy. However, if they buy from the dealer, they'll add "you're a mug" charges onto that car for buyimg frlm them. So that car will be sold on for £7,995. Yet you just got £5,500 for it.
Nih, fuck them gangsters and stealerships
