I completely agree with you. As for this song, I liked Kim Gwang Sook’s vocals more than the singer performing the original version. True, some French people think that she sang not quite in French and with a monstrous accent, but I don’t care about this little thing because I’m Russian, not French, and everything is perfect for my ear.

Ce n'est peut-être pas très français, mais la voix est belle et la note est juste!! Elle a raison de se faire plaisir et de nous faire plaisir par la même occasion. De même qu'il y a des sons japonais difficiles à prononcer pour nous, de même les Japonais rencontrent quelques difficultés à prononcer exactement nos sons. mais cela dit je trouve cela très original et surtout, qu'elle garde son bel accent. J'aimerais beaucoup l'entendre chanter d'autres chansons françaises ou internationales. Bravo aussi aux musiciens qui l'accompagnent.
