both of these cars are not worth their price tags. with what we're seeing in the car market its more obvious than ever before that more than anything with these German cars more than half the price is for the name/brand.

Crazy that the C63 is only R200k less. It's silly pricing from Mercedes. Although, you can't compare based on price. You compare on segment. If you're comparing on price, you couldn't compare any Chinese car to the segment it competes in for example because it's always cheaper. here in switzerland the m5 cost 30k CHF more than the c63 and the real competitors m3/4 cost the same or even more the m4 comp xdrive costs 1k more and a m4 cs 60k more the m3 comp is 500 CHF less while the m3cs costs 70k more or full spec 100k CHF more. Why does BMW always lie about their power figures. Like Porsche they are very conservative about the figures. When put on a dyno BMW and Porsche consistently have more power than they claim.
BMW reasoning is their vehicles' performance (0-60 and etc.) claims will be met; so, they always give more HP/torque than advertise. Imagine if their vehicles' performance claims weren't met, then there will be class action lawsuits everywhere.
Many countries in Europe tax per horsepower, so this measure reduce tax. My M car is 0.3sec quicker than official numbers so was expecting that. Another thing I found out is that the car was not limited at 250 km/hr as stated by BMW.

The size of the engine with turbo charging and electrifying going crazy is no longer a factor. You remember the Koenigseg Tiny Friendly Giant engine with 600bhp and remember including electrifyication it made an extra 1100bhp. So power trains, no matter the size of the engine can make seemingly any amount of horsepower, its no longer the size of the engine or even number of cylinders like it used to be.
Nice race, for the sake of theatricals can we get Ciros Real C63 and M5 V10 so we enjoy the sounds of proper cars? This was a really quiet 2 car race at almost R6mil

Plug-in system gives max power for short period of time. This is the main issue with the C63 the reason it lost against the M3 CS
