I apologise for the length of this, but this video is a prime example of how Scotland fail to truly capitalise on what we have and sell ourselves short. Thistle should be in the top division! Before I get into it, well done Blair mate, I watch a lot of these type of video blogs from fans all around the world and the improvement in your presentation since I started watching is brilliant to see, you can see you are a lot more confident and starting to get noticed by people. I'm a Rangers fan but have always had a soft spot for Thistle after staying next door to John Lambie for nearly 20 years, got a few tops off him and even some tickets, it also got me and my family free drinks in the Jaggy Thistle bar in Santa Ponsa (an actual Partick Thistle supporters club in Spain!!) I was just commenting on another video about Scottish football, there was a report done the other day that shows Scotland has the highest attendance of any league in Europe based on population size, I just wish we utilized it better. To have an 18-team premier league allowing clubs like Thistle, Dundee, Dunfermline, Falkirk maybe even Ayr Utd etc in with their fan bases would make the product better and also give other clubs outside of us and that other mob a chance of winning the title. There will possibly never be another winner of the Premier other than the Old Firm and no Leicester moment unless things change. Imagine a Hearts, Hibs or Aberdeen having a great season and instead of 8 games against the Old firm where they are lucky to grab a point here and there it's just one home and away game. It would be so much more exciting. Unfortunately, Sky TV only care about Rangers and Celtic, most of our fans only care about these games and even the current SPL clubs are guilty of ruining their own chances at progress because they don't want to lose 4 old firm games a season each. The pyramid system is a start in the right direction, now clubs who were always bottom like East Stirling are gone and the likes of Cove and Kelty have shown they can compete. it's not enough though, Darvel showed against Montrose who are a very good side what they can do, Aberdeen wasn't a fluke and even in the Falkirk match (I seen that video too) the sending off killed them. Now they could easily play in league 2 or possibly league 1 but to get there they need to win a very difficult league with likes of Auchinleck in it, then beat a Tranent in a playoff which they failed to do last season, then try and win the Lowland league and after that which should be enough to get promoted its playoff with the Highland champs and then another playoff with rock bottom of league 2 who should go automatically, 2nd bottom possibly a playoff. I've heard talk of a league 3, automatic promotion and relegation should come in as well but the dream for me, even though I am a Rangers fan and yer wee Partick mates probably think I don't care about anybody else, is to see us become a real Premier league, 18 teams, play each other twice and watch attendances rise. I even think the excitement of our matches v Celtic would be better cos we would play less. Anyway, great support. I was blown away at the Challenge Cup Final I went to against QOS back in the day, You's lost that day, but fair play on taking 2,500 to Ibrox, singing all game and the library chants where hilarious... even though it was only like a library because we were only playing a wee team lol... keep up good work mucca

The bosses understandably do not want to miss out on four old firm games a season and have killed Scottish football in doing so. League 3 is happening and is only being done to accommodate the old firm B teams and don't even get me started on the new Sky TV deal. Similar to Ireland Scottish football fans are doing everything they can but unfortunately thats all they can do as those in charge care about their pay packets and back handers
I'm a Rangers fan but the Partick Thistle fans were amazing yesterday. They were very loud and they brought a lot of fans and they were probably the best away fans at Ibrox this season so far. The atmosphere at Ibrox from Rangers as well was good and so was this video
