Awe man 👀 the best way to remove nitrogen IMO is a long water flush (3-4days). Filtered water will flush it away faster than the mulch. Those are some pretty flowers. There's also a product called sledgehammer from Foxfarm that I use for my hydroponics that removes heavy salts from the water and prevents nutrient lockout, which may work also. Hopefully you can find a resolution soon, TFS.
I know the products this to show some ways to find if what was said is true a learning experience also who running water for three days in a garden lol
