I just did a giant batch in my NINJA Foodi model AG301EU, and I didn't have to spread them evenly in a thin layer over the bottom. I just kept stirring them every 5 minutes, and adding a tiny spray of olive oil + sprinkle of salt. They turned out fine.
About six minutes into my air frying, the seeds are bouncing around in there. Is that normal, perhaps from them starting to dry out and become lighter? Thanks ✌🏻

Thank you for making the recipe easy. I am using True Elements pumpkin for my healthy diet. You should also try.
Unless you're going to carve the pumpkin afterward for Halloween, the seeds are easier to remove if you just quarter the pumpkin.
Can one use parchment paper under the seeds while roasting them?
This is an air fryer...you don't use parchment paper in an air fryer. In an oven on a flat baking sheet...you would.
Can you eat them with a hull like that or you need to peel them?
