Highbury. Lost but never forgotten!
Top video thanks for the upload.
Some of the stadiums may have looked drab and probably needed a coat of paint or two, but this was a time when football was a simple game.
Also a time when people paid more attention to what was happening on the pitch instead of looking at mobile phone. Stadiums didn't have empty seats neither.
Call me old fashioned but I like nostalgia.
Highbury was a classic ground maybe not the loudest but definitely one of finest grounds
Maine Road 😌 ahh “good old days such a experience, atmosphere was insane. Maine Road and Highbury I will never get out of me head - City fan not from Asia
Very proud that my club have always had the same ground and most probably always will
ahhhhhhh Maine road the memories we had
Thomas Harrison init the atmosphere was amazing
Highbury, Upton Park, and Maine Road had good architecture for the Stands / Tribune
I never got to witness Boleyn Ground, Highbury or Maine Road, but thankfully, I've visited Goodison Park, that'll be a stadium lost but never forgotten soon. I'm happy that Craven Cottage has been refurbished, and not smashed up like it means nothing.
Maine road looked like old trafford and elland road had a baby
Loved Maine Road, a proper football ground ...... loved Roker Park, up at Sunderland too....and the Baseball Ground at Derby.
Only Highbury... Thank you for the good memories..
Miss Maine Road so much, the kippax was immense
Maine road🙌🏻 all time non Wembley attendance record in English football. Was born at St Mary’s in Manchester just next to where Maine Road was being demolished. Unfortunately was before my time :(
I miss the dell
I wish we kept Maine road and expanded it
This is awsome
The worst move recently was West Ham, the old Upton Park was great. New stadium was made for the Olympics, not football.
every single ground showed in the clip has something there replacements lack.. Character...
And this is how you lose atmosphere (by moving to massive bowls with no atmosphere e.g emirates, London stadium, Etihad etc) and lose the terrace they had at the all grounds where atmosphere was made
Came here for Filbert Street ⏺️⏺️⏺️⏺️
The arl stadiums well better we'll miss all these one day
I miss Maine Road 😭
i miss highbury
Back when football had soul about it
Maine Road was great
long live the Boleyn
They could have just expanded the left stand at Maine road
Oh the Dell good memories of Soton fans!
filbert street damn
Filbert street was a proper ground
THE DELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
The plural of stadium is stadia.
Maine road⚪🔵⚪🔵
Highbury
#wemissyouboleyn
Far too many soulless stadiums in English football now, cosmetically pleasing perhaps but horribble palces really
Highbury better than emirates
Leeds road💙
