i kinda like the blue clay. there’s so many red clay tournaments so it gives a huge advantage to clay court specialists. i like seeing unique surfaces like carpet, blue clay, and honestly grass since there’s so few tournaments on grass anymore

I really loved this clay court and Serena ripped through the field that year. Looked like they were playing on water! 🌊💦💧

Madrid is not real clay, it's hard topped with dust. Blue clay was hard to move on.

Nadal was right about not playing on this blue clay. Look how tight is the movement. They had to take small steps.
Small steps is the key to clay court play. The ladies had no problem with it, the guys, not so much.
I love Novak but he and. Nadal complained and they lost lol. Federer and Serena slipped but just adjusted. I loved this clay it was nice on the eyes
