Hi Patrick. Top marks to Rotherham Council, looks like they've done a great job with the country park! A great resource for the locals and wildlife👍 All the best and take care👍😊
Excellent Patrick lovely day for a fab walk those cable water ski systems do look fun 🤩 and a challenge in equal measure 🤠🙏🏼 All the best Simon Thanks 🙏🏼
A very pleasant area is this country park, Patrick. With the lakes and all the wildlife, you wouldn't credit that it's on the doorstep of Rotherham and Sheffield. Many thanks for this showing, it looks a grand place to visit for a lovely walk.
Thanks for watching Ffranc. It's a great open space in Rotherham, good that they've utilised old mining areas and turned them into lovely green spaces 👍
Hi Patrick thank you for another interesting walk, we have never been to Killamarsh or Rotherham, it look so peaceful by the lake, we so look forward to your walk, thank you again Dave & Jean.
Hi Patrick. Wow! that was some walk you did. I love seeing all the places you go to that I've never been to so it is very nice to see. You was lucky to have most of the walk to your self. Best time to go before it gets too busy. Enjoy the weekend and looking forward to your next walk. 🙂 👍
Thanks Cath, glad you enjoyed it. There were quite a lot of people around when I shot this if I recall, but I just make sure I try not to film others in my walks, which is an impossible task for the most part. Hope your weekend is good too, thanks for watching 👍
Hi Patrick & thank you for another wonderful walk, those lakes are beautiful. Was interested in the Highland cow sculpture (looked it up made from wood) & campsite too, very interesting. 👍😆
Another great tranquil walk. Well done Rother Valley Council for all their efforts making this area so attractive for walkers. I’ve never been here so thank you for showing it to me. 6:34
Greetings Patrick, another beautiful peaceful walk, I take 4 mile walks in Chicago, never is it peaceful, you really have to watch your back, did you the duck with that golf ball, in Chicago you duck a lot, that highland cow reminded when I was in plockton Scotland, I wanted to pictures of the highland cow😊, was told 2 miles walk along road there was many cattle grazing, and I can take the train in durish, thought 2miles no problem, it was one of steepest roads in Scotland as I was huffing and puffing, the sun shining a glow on top of huge hill, and then my picture came, 3 highland cows lying on top of peak with the shiney glow of the sun, great pictureg😅
That was a great walk and a nice clear day for the time of year. You can see how much enjoyment you get from a good walk in fresh, clean air. There are some wonderful places to stroll around in the UK, we're very lucky. Thanks as always for bringing us along on your walk. Cheers
It was a great day for February Kelly, turned out really sunny. I love the fact they utilise the old mining areas and transform them into parks. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Hi Patrick. Amazing to think that just fifty years ago the whole of this area would have been a hive of industrial activity. Just goes to show how quickly nature can recapture our industrial sites - with a little help from us humanoids…….
Cheers Paul, it sure it incredible to imagine how different the landscape would have been in those days. It's good that they utilise the area and make nice places from them 👍
I have not been to the Rother Valley Country Park. It looked very expansive. The lake views were the highlights. That stile you could walk around the other side of, seems to often happen in countrysides. Nice melodic instruments with flute solo.
Hi Shanita, Rother Valley Country Park is a great spot within an old industrial area. I love the lakes and there is a nice cafe and visitor centre. Thanks for your comments on my music again, always appreciated 👍
Another good walk, there are pulleys for water skiing at the National Watersports Centre, Holme Pierrepont, and I feel the same as you - I'd love to try it but I'm a bit nervous! Maybe one day...
You should give Ulley Country Park , Treeton. Hail Mary and Falconer Woods a try. They are not far from Rother Valley. Let me know if you need info. Loving your vids mate. Enjoyable, peaceful and helpful in our walking. Keep going Patrick.
Hi Patrick, such a lovely walk and relaxing too. Thank you for taking us along with you.
Thanks for watching and commenting Rachel, it's a lovely walk for sure 👍

Thanks for watching Steven and for your comments. Thankfully I didn't need to duck, but was still glad to move away from those golfers! 👍
