Why would you get such a compact case for a 4090 build lmao even if it did fit there'd be like 0 room for it to breathe and you'd have major thermal issues
Yeah, should have a big case with lots of airflow for a card like that. And realistically, given he's probably using the GPU more than the CPU for his purposes, might have been better to have a case where his CPU cooler could have been top mounted as an exhaust, for the _slight_ temperature advantage on the GPU while taking the slight hit on the CPU, even if it's only a couple of degrees.
@@R0D3R1CKV10L3NC3I mean, you can afford it with AIO, it will keep almost anything chilled. Graphics can easily hit 80-90C however, even with airflow.
@@TheSK1PP I mean you can do that, but will it be a good thing if you happened to put an 4090 in an ITX?, No. It will look very pretty but it will surely not be an better thing than an proper ATX or an big MATX

Him building this makes me wonder how he made Neuro. Lol, didn't take the sticker off the cpu cooler hot plate. The case is too small for such a large GPU, heat will be really high.
I hope Linus sees the clip about the screwdriver..even AIs like it..hahaha, plus hell, if Vedal could get LTT to build him a computer for Neuro that would be a nice bonus.

to be fair to him, i had to modify my case to fit my stupid rtx 4080. not only modify the case, but i had to buy a riser because this 4 slot monstrosity (in a bad sense) goes over some of the mobo I/O if you plug it directly. these cards are aberrations that should have never been made. they're clearly past the farthest stretch of reasonable for a pc component in power consumption, heat dissipation and size. products of stagnating tech. At the very least i had no headaches once it was installed. a nice undervolt and it runs cool and reliably. but boy do i hate opening my pc up beacuse of it.
Like other people mentioned: I REALLY hope that the standoffs? were pre-installed. Regardless of that, normally they are not completely pre installed or not fitting for the Board size etc. So i REALLY hope he did it correctly. And NORMALLY, meassuring everything you have like: GPU, Water Cooling Block, Case, is necessary BEFORE buying it. After meassuring at, i add around 10-15cm on top just to be sure that i really have enough space. Building the Board on a table and, like a few mentioned, scratching it over the top would hurt me so much, glad i couldn't watch it live 😀 And i ALSO hope he put Liquid on the CPU, not Metal on Metal 😂 All in all: He definitely should work on his Building Skills. I LOVE to build my PCs myself. Sadly, i am the exact opposite of vedal here: I don't really have any Skills (currently) about the Software related things, sadly. 😂
Vedal has someone working on a robot dog chassis for Neuro to use at cons, right? Making a physical interface for a controller pad would be downright child's play in comparison. The same skillset would also be used to make a serial adapter that spoofs as a bluetooth accessory that Neuro could control a game with.
just seeing it more longer and more into it... that's case actually can fit that GPU... you just need put the fan on the other side and the radiators inside.. everythint would be fine.. its because vedal put the fan and radiator inside case 😂
Unity’s SSL issue was resolved apparently. He mentioned it in the stream. Meaning all of the errors he’s been dealing with for months are gone because he was able to put her back on the most recent version of Unity again, which is what she is currently intended to run on.
