@Ben Wilmot Tiger reliability was good for a heavy tank at the time. Less but better tanks also uses less fuel overall so this stereotype is a fallacy.
@@SpartanSoldier-jw1ns No it really isn't. While the Tiger I didn't drain all that many resources in combat, it was amazingly heavy and had an unreliable transmission prone to breaking down in the Eastern and African fronts. The other heavy tanks of the time were more reliable and cheaper to produce.
@@azzucks It didnt have Transmission problems in the mid and late production tigers. That was a very early on. Almost every tank has teething problems in the beginning and they were all worked out eventually and it was as reliable as a heavy tank could be expected at the time. The other heavy tanks really wernt any better reliability wise. The KV1 was prone to break downs. The Pershing which didnt reach the front until 1945 was prone to break downs. The IS2 has equal reliability to the tiger and thats not even taking into account germans has less spare parts than soviets in general. Can also. Then to add to that and further prove my point, the t34 which is considered one of the most reliable designs of the war had terrible reliability when it first reached the front in 1941. The only tank that had consistent transmission problems due to a design flaw was the Panther tank however every other design problem that could be fixed was fixed.

This is comfortable only because the bass, the distance, and how calm it is for war sounds
I have no idea why I find this so soothing, but I do and I love it! Also it’s helping me get through school (which I’m behind in by like 35 weeks 😬), I’ve done a week of school today (a little was yesterday but oh well). Thank you!!
It’s so realistic, you can almost feel the concussions from the blasts.
Although war is messed up, the distant sounds of war are eerie yet soothing to listen too.
Yeah, It's almost like a combination of campfire/fireplace and thunderstorms.
to me i imagine i'm an allied soldier sleeping in a house or something while it's all happening outside
gn mizkids
now all i need is chompy
pros: good for studying and sleep
cons: you will have PTSD that you don't even know that you have
And with an ever increasing smile I whispered;
*Soon*
Ding! The microwave opened and your microwave meal was there
The fact that i lisin't trough the entire thing while reading a comic makes me think about life in a way that nothing else can
"So when are we getting to Moscow?"
"I don't know, but when we get there, we're gonna burn it down"
BURN THEM ALL
I can’t be the only one that’s able to fall asleep to this
Imagine sitting in your house somewhere near the front with your family, listening to this off in the distance and trying to figure out if it sounds any closer or further away than it did yesterday...
And that this has gone off for 3 nights now...

Can I use this for a history podcast? Doing an episode on a Russian/German battle. Will credit you and link to your channel.
just like girls..they didnt say no..so go ahead..
@@looch1ner500 exactly.
Well this isn't actually an Eastern Front style. This would've likely been Italy or France. The Soviet Union's guns fired faster thsn those heard in the clip.
@@thepoet9253 and so are the german guns there would also be alot of "HANS EINE NEUE BATTALION!!!!"
@@thepoet9253 What guns?
Listening to different battlefield ambients per war, it's always new
It may just be me, but this is one of those things that you play in the middle of the night when you're tired as hell and it just feels right. I don't know how to explain it much better than that.
Why do I like hearing this?
the school when the two most popular groups start to fight
or after a week of fighting
Or just a school shooting but in america.
Finally, some good music to learn
Mizkif sent me here
"Hey you! You're finally awake! You were trying to cross the Rhine, right? Walked right into the German ambush? Same as us! And that French man over there!"
Im here because mizkif listens to this to go to sleep..
Wait that's a call of duty modern warfare mission. That's ok its still the western front
No, that's the eastern front. The Russians invaded lithe east and west coast. Washington, where this mission takes place is on the east.

I still remember playing this at max volume with some headphones on.
I regret nothing.
This reminds me of that church scene in "Saving Private Ryan" where you can hear and see the war raging in the distance during night as the soldiers inside the church try to get some sleep before moving on.
