I am going to give you guys an advice, because one of my dearest friends went through it and we dont want any of you and anyone reading this going through the same thing.
    (2) things you can do. (#1) invest in a plexi-glass sides for those side-by-side off road vehicles And if you dont want to do that, invest in full head helmets that have full face coverings.
The reason being is because my dearest friend was doing the same thing you guys did in upstate NY, and a branch smacked her in the face and nearly blinded her for life.
She had to have 4 surgeries eye surgeries and took 2 years to recover. Because the branch as the vehicle push it, whip-lashed through the open side window & smacked her in the face.
It did cut her face on the right cheek and the cut was about 8 inches long, she had to be rushed to the hospital via helicopter.
I know these are fun things to do, I love doing them as well, but when you do these types of things, please consider wearing protective gear, specially head and face.
I do not want you or anyone reading this going through the same thing my dearest friend went through. I love watching you guys have fun & sharing a part of your life with us.
I don't mean to bring anyone's joy down, just want people to think of safety, specially with these types of machinery that we all love to ride & have fun with.
It only takes a split second for things to go very wrong. just be and think safe 😍😍😍💖💖💖

Little history on Korn(Russian for grain) was settled by German Mennonite ‘s on land left over from one of the land runs in the 1800’s. It was changed to Corn during WW I because of anti German sentiment. They brought with them a red wheat that grew well in the area. However, it also had thistle seed in it ( we call this tumbleweeds now! Hope you enjoyed your trip.

I’ve traveled all over the US, and it’s very interesting talking to farmers and ranchers in different states. Where farms growing corn in Michigan are happy to get 150 bu corn because they rely on rainfall only, you folks in Nebraska who irrigate, would be dismayed and expect 200 or better corn.
Farms in the California Central Valley use diverted river water to irrigate their fields, sometimes through underground pipes.
Tobacco farmers in Connecticut grow their plants under tents to keep the sun off the leaves.
Ranchers in Texas grow wheat, but not for grain, it’s to let the cattle forage. Same for corn in the northeast, it’s mostly chopped up into silage.
Farms have evolved so that they grow what works best for the land and the climate.

I live North of Dallas. Yet also worked farms for about 20 years or so. The farmer I worked for he did around 6000 acres. With that we did, wheat, corn, milo and cotton. Some soybean but not a lot of it. Also he had three pastures with cows and one with bulls. I asked how many and he told me. I know how many are in each pasture. But I do not want to add them up. It would scare me. LOL.
He and I went to west Texas to look at a tractor once. Out there we saw a dozer pulling a double plow. Meaning it was pulling (this was in 1990) two 35 or 40 foot plows. And digging them deep too. On that trip also we would drive about ten miles and see a big silo set up. Then fields. another ten miles and another silo set up. This went on for many miles. All looked identical. He claims that it was more than likely the same farmer. From the highway, the fields went as far off the road as you could see. Plus it went about 25 plus miles long. All one farm. Dry land farmed also.

My family are dairy farmers. No weekends off. Cows have to be milked every day. If you want to go away for a holiday, you have to hire a contact farmer that makes a living by relieving dairy farmers.

I remember somebody that did a wheelie on a bicycle and during his wheelie his handlebars came off at the same time. Somebody else told me somebody else's front wheel came off during a wheelie where the clip went dodgy. Nasty accidents.
