First time that I have seen a traffic light in the corn field for harvest. :) Love your videos. Thanks for sharing the farm life with all us non-farmers.
Thank you for the shout out, Laura! We loved visiting with you and hope to have you visit us in the near future! Let us know if there is every anything else we can do for you!
It’s about time a manufacture finally got rid of the steering wheel! I talked to a John Deere rep twenty years ago at a farm show about that very same thing and he looked at me like I was crazy.
Looks like you had some beautiful weather for farming and being outdoors! Prayers for you and your family Laura and hoping for a speedier recovery for Grandpa Kurt!
Mike Mitchell had the Ideal 10T on his farm in Saskatchewan. He said it's not that practial to drive it with joystick like he throught. It's very sensitive. There is a video on his youtube channel where he does full advanced review of the beast.
I grew up on coal mining equipment and remember all the exciting times exploring new or different cabs. This brought back memories! 🙏🙏’s for your papa.
Hope grandpa can come home soon🙏 Yes!. Love to see that Fendt combine in action at your farm but curious to see what you have headed out there on lowboys! Wow. No idea bean harvesting was that complex!🤯
I just looked 2 days ago and you were at 198K...I see today youre at 200K! CONGRATS!!! Thoughts and prayers are always with you all and Grandpa Kurt...
See if you can get a demo with a Tribine. The combine that has an integrated grain cart so you don't need a second tractor+cart+driver. I'm sure there are other advancements they have beyond that. A company and harvester created by farmers. So interested to see what they have.
Bonjour Laura et Grant salutations de Paris, France your videos are just refreshing espacially when you start them with your sweet "Good Morning". Keep on updating us with your daily farm life 'cause seen from across the Atlantic it really looks amazing those big tractors, combine, endless fields of corn, soye bean etc ... A little tip about your videos : something the wind speeks louder than you Laura even though your a shouter as you said in one of your video .. may be try a bluetooth microphone could be a good idea Sorry for my bad english :) Take care you guys and my best wishes of recovery for your grandfather
Yeah i would love to see a Xerion 5000 with twin tires. Sadly here in germany we dont have those, they are to wide for our streets and wouldnt be allowed to drive on public roads.
Dear Laura, Love your channel but between the wind noise and the dominant (superfluous) background music, much of your interesting descriptions were drowned out. PS Greg is doing his best but he really needs a wireless microphone with a mute switch you can control.
Hi, Laura. Totally love your videos. I try to watch 4 to 6 each day as I started at your first one and want to watch them all in order. I saw the trouble you had in the video ' A seriously muddy job '. How about a pivot with tracks instead of wheels? Seems someone could come up with a way to make it work. Anyway I'm enjoying the videos. And btw I play FS22 and love the Fendt brand. I use the Ideal 9t in the game. Lol.
Reminds me of a joke from the 1980s. They've designed a tractor and combine without a seat and steering wheel. Made for the farmer who lost his ass and has nowhere to turn.... Fendnt must of gotten the memo.
CNH made a Case with no driver's seat or cabin whatsoever. Fully automated farming robot. But no steering wheel has been the norm for large construction equipment for years. In farming in makes more sense since you're on autosteer most the time and don't need to steer much at all
The new holland combine i love them back in the 70s when i was growing up thats all we saw in the uk 🇬🇧 and they didnt have all the air condition cab they have today the guys driving them had to wear face masks because of the dust !
No steering wheel is kinda trippin me out. Its like the ultimate video game machine...but its real cant wait to see what surprises you have for harvest. Good luck to grandpa, he definitely is a fighter
geeeezzeeeee these combines have more parts than the space station, the Fendt (all of them) have that look of over engineered German mechanicals, how about a close up of beans and wheat as they come out of the combine. Love these videos
Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Challenger Combines are manufactured by Laverda (Italy). 👎 The Geringhoff corn picker is one of the best. 👍 Fendt Tractor Top ... one of the best. 👍 Claas Lexion Combine Top 👍. Claas Tractors (Ex Renault) 👎
Ideal ! Please let Laura farm have a demo of your fancy fancy combine! thank you! And I'm just curious have you guys thought of the cararieair system as well Is? 🤔 No I'm not a farmer and I'm not trying to help you spend your money I'm just curious because it seems to work really well at other places I was just wondering if you had thought of Trying it .
I think he was cutting diagonally just to get around the wet spot, and he also said they were opening up the field. Sometimes there is a benefit to cutting diagonally. If your beans are extremely short and you cut them diagonally they will feed better past the guards. Another reason a person might want to cut diagonally is to use the entire cutter bar. When you drive down the row you’re only using a small amount of your entire cutter bar and will be replacing those same knives over and over again.
Laura, could you please demo a JCB Fastrac and a Claas XERION 4X4 Tractor with Rotating Cab? The JCB Fastrac will increase your productivity when hauling pretty much anything. Please put World Dairy Expo on your bucket list, Laura. It's an annual event. This year it starts on September 28 and runs through October 2.
The international model 91 combine built in the 1960's did not have a steering wheel, it drove like a skid steer with 2 sticks. Not quite as nice as that Fendt!
Oh..does the stem n leaf get taken of for livestock feed with that corn..? It's good fodder perhaps it's too dry a stem as the cobs are shedding...🤔can we have your straw ...that's short in supply in the UK ..again...brings in good money. ..altho it's competition between farmers and power stations...last year people were baling anything dry enough for bedding...even rushes... (weeds)...
02:46 Anybody see the Spacecraft, upper right corner, long silver dude ? 03:29 What ah Gorgeous Machine, just don't wanna be around when this Bad Boy Transforms ! Laura, beautiful as ever, Grant ya look good on yer own, keep smiling !! BAD NEWS: Nebraska 16/ U. of Oklahoma 23, maybe next year. Later Guys ❣💓❣
Laura and Grant love the channel and for that i sent you guys a little something to your PO box it should be there about October 1… God Bless and Stay Safe

Love the NO STEERING WHEEL harvester. Take a little getting use to a joy stick, but it would be so much better w/o an obstruction in your windshield.
It’s about time a manufacture finally got rid of the steering wheel!
I talked to a John Deere rep twenty years ago at a farm show about that very same thing and he looked at me like I was crazy.
Old man here, your what made the preacher dance. God bless you and yours.

I'd like to see the New Holland combine demo. Everyone else has a Deere or Case video. Prayers for your Grandpa.
This was a really nice video, very nice mix of different things! I’m keeping grandpa in my thoughts
I'd like to see a Gleaner Demoed by you all...They've been perfecting them for 50 plus years...wishing your Grandpa a speedy recovery.
Thanks for the video very nice combines hope you get to demonstrate one or all the combines keep up great work you do on your farm

My best wishes and I hope your grand dad gets better soon.
Good luck with Grandpa, sending all extra prayers your way. Thank you
The Ideal 10T….. it’s Tracks, it’s everything ! It has my vote!
That Claas looks like the sports car of combines. I bet it is fuel injected with dual exhausts.
Good Job Today Laura looking forward to your delivery......Good job Trucking and Combining Grant!!!
Yes, I would love to see you demo the Fendt 10T
I moved a horse drawn hay rake yesterday, does that count as no steering wheel?
Get well Grandpa
@BIG ASS ok Laura or Grant very funny reply there lol
@@Per409 : It's an automated bot. (Spammer.)
@@rafaucett i know, just playing
@@Per409 OK. No worries. 😃
A CLAAS combine and a tractor when it’s time for groundwork could be interesting to watch :)
Yeah i would love to see a Xerion 5000 with twin tires. Sadly here in germany we dont have those, they are to wide for our streets and wouldnt be allowed to drive on public roads.
Love the videos. Looking forward to more harvesting. Praying for Grandpa Kurt.
Would love to see an explanation from Grant on the engines y'all use on the pivots. Mostly it looks like old truck V8s.
It’s crazy the developments in equipment from when I was on the farm. Does the bean float or is it on shoes
Dear Laura,
Love your channel but between the wind noise and the dominant (superfluous) background music, much of your interesting descriptions were drowned out.
PS Greg is doing his best but he really needs a wireless microphone with a mute switch you can control.
When we irrigated potatoes, one of our pumps was powered by a Ford V8. When we went to shit it off at night the exhaust manifolds were cherry red.
Wow that dark grey ideal is so cool!

10T,go big or go home :))
Hello hope your family is safe and your grandpa is in our prayers and like you in a new hollowland
You had a question about tires or track I like track's they don't go flat
Prayers to the Doctors and Nurses taken care of papa Kurt.
Whatever you demo, we will enjoy. 🙂 Great video!
I'd like to see the Fendt IDEAL and CLAAS Xerion and Jaguar 990 TT
So I see you have a smart phone, so aside from filming are there any farmer specific apps out there you or Grant use?
Reminds me of a joke from the 1980s. They've designed a tractor and combine without a seat and steering wheel. Made for the farmer who lost his ass and has nowhere to turn.... Fendnt must of gotten the memo.

The beans look good. Hope Grandpa recovers quickly
The claas would look really neat to demo
I would love to see the claas working some more
I would defiantly like to see the New Holland Combine as a demo. Switch up the colors!
Hey, see if you can a range a GLEANER combine demo this harvest. What FUN!
Class combines seem to be doing well
I'm a Massey Ferguson man, a demo of one of them would be great!
Safe Harvest Blessings to you. My how technology has so changed in farm equipment in the last 50 years.
The Fent I10 would be great to demo! With No staring wheel! Sounds like a lot of fun.
so as a neophyte. what are the benefits of treads over tires? and visa versa. Praying for your grandpa!
Claas we have a forage harvester would like to see the combine
The new holland combine i love them back in the 70s when i was growing up thats all we saw in the uk 🇬🇧 and they didnt have all the air condition cab they have today the guys driving them had to wear face masks because of the dust !
No question about it that I’d definitely get everything for my farm from claas!
Thanks for the update good to see ya both
question for Grant, why combining across the rows?
Hope fast 🙏 and healthy recovery 🙏💓 to your grandfather
Prayers for your grandpa, looking forward to seeing the demos if you can get them .take care
No steering wheel is kinda trippin me out. Its like the ultimate video game machine...but its real

They remind me of the old thrashing machines that were belt driven. They were powered by steam tractors in our area. They did custom thrashing.
Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Challenger Combines are manufactured by Laverda (Italy). 👎 The Geringhoff corn picker is one of the best. 👍 Fendt Tractor Top ... one of the best. 👍
Claas Lexion Combine Top 👍. Claas Tractors (Ex Renault) 👎
I like them all I could watch these all day long. Good job👍
4:30 IDEAL combinegasm
Great video Laura like that no steering wheel joy stick case has tractors like that and cat.thank you for sharing.
prayers for grandpa
The fendt ideal seems to have a lot of reliability problems which is not good when you're harvesting
Ideal ! Please let Laura farm have a demo of your fancy fancy combine! thank you! put a hitch on the tail end of the combine, so it's 'header' can be towed behind it - saves on the traffic jams if you're 'roading' long distances...
10:55 what’s the benefit of cutting beans diagonally? We always go along the rows.
I think he was cutting diagonally just to get around the wet spot, and he also said they were opening up the field.
Sometimes there is a benefit to cutting diagonally.

Another reason a person might want to cut diagonally is to use the entire cutter bar. When you drive down the row you’re only using a small amount of your entire cutter bar and will be replacing those same knives over and over again.
We all ways waited till the first frost to get out and cut beans. But we were in westerner Iowa.
Why was the Claas windrowing the corn chafe ?? Is it always that windy there??
Laura, could you please demo a JCB Fastrac and a Claas XERION 4X4 Tractor with Rotating Cab? The JCB Fastrac will increase your productivity when hauling pretty much anything. Farming feeds everyone keep up the great work congratulations on all your success
Claas and fendt totally.
That Claas combine looked pretty sick with the tracks in front
Absolutely you are amazing I never seen like farmer love you more
Oh..does the stem n leaf get taken of for livestock feed with that corn..? Would like to see the Claas one as a Demo. My bro in law is working at Claas producing the main hydraulic parts in Paderborn. BR Stephan from Germany
250 @ 28% moisture? Still a good yield but probably most do not understand shrink
I would love to see the Claas on a demo would be interesting to see how the big Lexions do in corn.
I'd like to see the Fendt combine in action!! Grant is cool!! Y'all rock!! Great video!!
Claus and Fendt took my heart ♥️
Since you have much more experience around farm machinery than I will ever have, I will leave the decision about what equipment to demo up to you!
good job brother,..good machine...nice to see your work looks easy and fast
Did you see attachment for rear of combine that shatters weed seeds?
You should buy the fendt ideal 10t combine or the Jhon Deere 9rx combine
i would say, try to get a Claas lexion demo or the fendt :)
Prayers always for your GPa
Yeah Laura I think that binder that has no steering wheel is kinda huge and expensive too
Hey Grant. How does the combine measure moisture content?
On a corn header, what is that large screw behind the outer most snout used for?
Love the videos, but between the wind noise and music it was difficult hearing you on this particular video.
I'm curious to see the Class combine.
New theme music kinda threw me. Really like your stuff. Hope you can get some demo's out at the farm.
I'd like to see you demo some of the New Holland equipment since it's made there in Nebraska. :-)
Love your videos!! Keep up the good work!!
The farmer behind my house uses a New Holland, but i LOVE the ideal.
Laura and Grant love the channel and for that i sent you guys a little something to your PO box it should be there about October 1… God Bless and Stay Safe
Fendt Ideal and Massey Ferguson Ideal are the same combines. Just different brand name. They are getting popular here in Europe
