if you make settings for the harvester like, for example, the settings they have in real, it will be wrong with the forwarder and if you do the opposite it will be wrong with the harveater, do you have a solution for that?
I really like the commentary... I prefer it over the usual time lapse videos... Those are cool as well... Watching someone who really knows what he's doing, instead of raging around with logs doing their own thing, has something satisfying to it. With your voice the video just has a very relaxing vibe👌🏻 Only thing is... Maybe you could do some improvements to your sound quality... Sounds a bit like you sit in a huge empty sports hall 😅 I really look forward to the upcoming videos😁
Thanks man! I really appreciate the honesty and support! 😄 And I 100% agree with you, I actually considered ditching the video due to the quality, but on the other hand I really wanted to release my take on forestry in FS25. 😅
Oak is great for wood-chipping! They also grow really fast compared to many other species. But they don't sell for much if you try to turn them into logs. 😄
I asked myself the same question while testing some of these machines. Some of them work incredibly well, while others barely fulfill their purpose. 😅 Most of the issues I experienced should be fairly easy to address. However, wobbly logs and invisible hitboxes were also issues in their previous title, so that might not be too promising. 🤔
Yes and no, 😅 Base-game forestry don't require that many buttons, I agree. But for FS22 with mods like 'Wood Harvester Controls'' etc. most, if not all the buttons were in use. 😄 Hopefully the same or similar mods will be released for FS25 as well.
@@Bambis_GamerHut because i want to buy a third joystick (got one t16000m and the logitech side panel) and i dont know if i should buy another t16000m or a farmstick
Unless you can get a single left or right hand (depending on what you are missing) T.16m, I would recommend the Farmstick. It has more buttons, and feels great in both hands. 😁
if you make settings for the harvester like, for example, the settings they have in real, it will be wrong with the forwarder and if you do the opposite it will be wrong with the harveater, do you have a solution for that? like any mod or any ideas
Unfortunately, no. Not that I'm aware of. I also have to admit that I do not know the real-life controls of these machines. So, I just keybound the controls based on ISO excavators. This don't work properly for every machine available, though. My solution is to save a few keybind XML files for the different machines that differ. This way, I can quickly copy and paste the XML file, avoiding the need to manually adjust the keybinds each time. 😄
Yea, that's pretty much the same as my keybinds for the game. The only difference really, is rotating the crane tool is binded to the finger trigger instead of joystick left and right. 😄
The sennebogen crane has the same problem as the volvo high lift...if the grapple is fully closed its wider than thw bunks on the trailer...so if you pick a full load it pushs the logs agaibst the ments of the trailer and wedges them...we are spoiled from fs 22 forestry but in the direct comparsion it feels like a massive down grade
Yeah, that makes sense, but at least it's easy to work around by just grabbing a few fewer logs. 😅 I somewhat agree, FS25 is beautiful by all means, but forestry was in a good state in FS22. Now they definitely have a few kinks they need to sort out. 😄
No matter how high I went up the tree with the Volvo processor, it kept saying 'too thick,' at least in my testing. Actually, it was only able to cut down stages 1, 2, and 3, as stage 4 is not suitable for processors for some reason. The same applies to the Impex in stage 4. 😄
Can someone help me? In FS 22 on the Silverrun Forest map, the trees have black trunks and there are some rendering problems with the trees. It's only on this map that it's like this.
For purely forestry I would stick with FS22 just for now, but the overall improvements of the graphics, sounds and new features makes me stay in FS25. 😄
Nice overview of the machines. Also nice to see someone who is very good at controlling them :) I don't want to sound too negative, but your voice sounds awfully hoarse. Like you just woke up after a full day of shouting. The room you are recording in doesn't serve the sound quality as well. Made it very hard for me to understand you clearly.
Thanks for the kind words and honest feedback! 😊 I'm glad you enjoyed the overview though, it means a lot! And I will 100% work on the sound quality if i make another video with voice. 😂
dont bother with any terraforming,i just wasted 10 hours making a new farm base and putting buildings animals ect, saved the game came back several hours later and everything was underground as all the lower terrain manipulation was gone. i could hear the animals creming in pain.
Yea reloading saves seems to be a coin flip as of right now. 😅 In my testing I also realized, that when you plant tree saplings they will disappear from the save-game once they grow once and you reload the game. 🥲 Fingers cross for a hotfix patch soon enough.
Personally wasnt to impressed with this rendition of forestry. Logs jiggle out of the triler bunk way worse than 22. And this new "log locking" with the grapples (used the big volvo with the dangle grapple) is HORRIBLE. Tried pushing the logs down in the bunk with a closed grapple, and thr closed grapple is picking up logs. Big L so far
There are pros and cons, that's for sure! I'm hopeful they will fix most of these issues. But I agree, there are quite a lot of bugs in its current state. 😅
Finally forestry king is back after a long time😛😁
♥️😁

So happy to have u back. U r always the forestry expert on my list. Thanks for the amazing video. 😊
Thank you so much! 😄
Omg Bambi is back! 🤩
And with a 30 min long video?! 😱🤩
Strong comeback mate! 😎
Thanks! 😁

Wow nice video 🎉

Thanks, I really appreciate it! At the moment my setup is standing on and between a bunch of moving boxes. 😂
@@Bambis_GamerHut 🤣🤣
What controllers/joysticks are you using?
@@ihansolomychewie8137 I use a dual Simtask Farmstick setup. 😄
Hope they add the Ponsse Scorpion king or similar harvesters :D Don't like the excavator harvesers
Yea! I'm also a huge fan of the Scorpion, I hope to see it as a mod 😄
I planted oak trees..they are now 17.9 meters tall and when cut as close to base as possible they weigh about 8.6 tons

great video thx for that!! but did giants even test the machines before release? thats ridiculous and patching this will take month like always Oo

Got my joysticks up and working for the first time since fs19, when i convert some mods to 25 ill be sure to log alot more
Nice! What mods do you want to convert? :D Personally, I really hope the mod 'Wood Harvester Controls' get released to FS25 as well! 😄
@@Bambis_GamerHut I have a bunch of forestry equipment (mainly PNW equipment) that I want in 25, same with construction equipment
Sounds cool! I hope it will be fairly easy to convert the mods. 😄
@@Bambis_GamerHut thanks, I always found modding was hard but the longer I practice the easier it gets
Missed the best of them all - the skid steer, with logging fork and stump grinder.
Haha, true! 😂
Is there a reason wh you using dual farmstick instead of t16000m for example
I mean du you need all the Buttons? XD

You find the Inputbinding xml file in /Documents/My Games /Farming Simulator 😁
Yea, that's pretty much the same as my keybinds for the game. The only difference really, is rotating the crane tool is binded to the finger trigger instead of joystick left and right. 😄

Dual Simtask Farmsticks. 😄

Only trees you plant will grow bigger and once you cut them down, you will have to plant new ones again. 😁
Would you preffer fs22 or fs25
