Great video. Quick question. When you showed your strategies, you said you use 122 blue, but then at 7:49, you mention how 12 to Red is so good. Is it just because at that point in that game you had switched over to the red, or do you usually run red? In which one would you recommend for people who aren’t exceptional at defending the rush?
Might have been a slip up. 1-2-2 red can be good but it can create issues with your defensemen backing up to the blueline. 1-2-2 blue is the way to go.
Hey man I know I’m late, but these strategies are only available in HUT right? This is my first ever hockey game and I’m just playing franchise mode as the Panthers atm but I can’t seem to change their strategies.
Nice video! Love the tips. I tried to turn on ice trainer for passing but it dont seem to work you know how to fix it? I just want when i pass to see a line because my passes are bad sometimes
And what if he DOES prove to you that he can score on his backhand? Do you have a way to adjust your defense? Or do you continue to let him take the backhand all day knowing that it’s still a low percentage shot at the end of the day and that he just got lucky?
@@Sapsterr you guys make it look so easy. lol. But thank you for this video! I will be working on this Defence and hopefully get more than 4 wins in my next champs run! Appreciate your hard work.
can you do a short video on board play and net battles? how to win battles??? it can be long but i assume its not like offense and defense with the information....or respond to my comment...pleaseeee, i really need help and cant fin a single video on it
The best advice I can give is to always position yourself between the opponent and puck. If you're chasing a loose puck, step in front of your opponent. Maybe stick lift them. Or, if you're trying to win a 50/50 battle, skate into their stick lane so they can't pick up the puck.
Excellent explainer. Wonderful video.
Rush Defense 3:59
Cycle Defense 17:28
Breakout 36:27
great video keep up the great work!
Thanks, will do!
Been waiting for this

Best NHL 25 content, worst mic quality. worth the upgrade my man! Love the tips!
I'm using an elgato wave right now. Genuinely do not know why it ends up being so bad LOL
this means nothing, it sounds fine, only a audio expert would complain
Thanks man. Any reason you can't play a Center at the wing position?
In that first play….what do you do if he keeps the puck? Instead of the pass?
What do you suggest when you’re playing up against a very aggressive player. Leaves you no room and constantly on your heels.
Quick question. How do you cover the point? Be a pro keeps asking me to do it and i have no idea how to achieve it deliberately

In the O zone there is no pass assist so passing is always gonna be bad.
@@Sapsterr well in your d zone i saw one of your passes have a line how did you get that to appear?
@@villa1049 Probably holding R1?
Flip aim targetting will show a line when saucer passing

What’s your strategy for player switching effectively? I always seem to pick the wrong guy when manual switching
Player switching is broken in NHL 25. They broke it in 23 and it hasn't been fixed.
The best thing to do would be manual switching? I’ll just have to practice
@@Stewie1426 even the manual switching is pretty bad

Anything for EASHL? I can’t find anything breaking down a team strategy for that
I would love to make EASHL content but if I'm being serious I don't consider myself good enough at 6v6 or 3v3 to make content about it.
hut is trash
Booo not the video we are all waiting for lol but it will do i guess
It's coming don't you worry.
what are we waiting for?
@@TheRealAD45 he's making a video craping on ea but will also highlight the good
