OK, Braxton this episode wow, it’s not only showed me that God is with me and For me, but also that we don’t suffer for Jesus but with Jesus and it a beautiful thing to know that we have a God who is loving enough to suffer with us even after he suffered the most brutal death on the cross. Jesus is so good and loving and I can’t describe the thankfulness that I have for him, and in that being able to have the gift of using us to elaborate on this truth that’s in this book, by the word of our testimony. I’ve always felt like I was alone my whole life. And I’m just in my lil cage suffering, and even when I ask for help no one is there to help. I now understand why I went through what I went through. It was for his glory, so that others can be helped with the same issue I was going through. My suffering wasn’t for nothing. How we get caught up in the devil's little Venus fly traps of distractions like video games or Netflix. And there's a reason why it's called entertainment because you're entering containment apart from Christ. It's like I already knew what I was doing was wrong but I just needed a word and watching your message you reaffirmed what was already being convicted in my heart. With such a little time left we need to use that's to multiply the kingdom of heaven
The Lord taught me a lesson when I went though a situation where I was very upset with someone on Friday. I played the pity party in my head so much that I ended up not going to sleep until Saturday night at 10 pm. When I read my nightly Bible read that night, one of the chapters was Proverbs 9. Verses 10-12 is one of my memory verses. When I got to verse 12, I felt like a complete and utter FOOL! Your video today only proves that when you suffer, you still have to be humble about it or God won't help you until you do! Great video!

Your sermon made me realise that even though it appears nothing is happening, the Lord is working on it. It will happen, but only in his time. this is truly crazy to me. i’ve been going through a lot lately and like just trying to stay in God’s word as much as possible and today just has been so crazy in terms of Christ speaking to me. my sunday school lesson was about suffering and learning to have to go through things to be able to see God in the good things, then a different pastor taught the actual sermon and that too was about suffering and how we need to do that in order to grow in humility and to be formed in the image of God. And thennn i hop on here to listen to this dude ( who i listen to every sunday ) and this too was about that. so in conclusion Christ just wanted to remind me that the suffering is for a reason and that i’m not alone in my struggles. He does hear you, and weep with you, you just have to have the patience and endurance to be able to see the good and listen to what he is saying to you

I believe you missed out on a chance to talk about virtue, redemptive suffering, and penance. As we know all know he did indeed embodied the virtue of endurance but also the virtues of patience, courage, fortitude, etc. Redemptive Suffering as in the fact that we can offer up our suffering to God, not because Christ’s suffering was not enough, but because God wants us to unite our suffering with his! Penance, to accept what you have to go through and offering it up to the Lord as a form of making up for the sin in the past. (Obviously to the extent where you’re not harming yourself.) But overall, loved the episode, as I have enjoyed your other episodes as well, God Bless🙏🏽🤍!!!
Hey man, Im on my journey with Christ but I came across apologetics and it seems like if we did know Jesus and the Bible were true there wouldn’t be this battle of apologetics, how do you deal with apologetics and what is your opinion on them?
I have a stronghold; Gluttony. I can stop but I choose not to. I know what it feels like to have a strong hold because I dealt with maladaptive daydreaming for 4-5 years. I don’t want to hate this sin even though I know it can kill me, I just don’t care. It’s a terribly big idol and I know God wants to break this off but I literally won’t let him. Please pray for me if you can! I feel far away from him because of this habitual sin. Yes I know I have to take my steps but please pray for me!
